Customers are positive about the Spectre x360's fast performance, light weight, long battery life, and affordable price. They also appreciate its portability, design, storage, and touch screen. However, some customers have concerns about the pen's functionality, the laptop's expensive cost, fan noise, and overheating issues.
This is a beautiful and very powerful computer. But, there is a flaw, that does not seem unique to my purchase. HEAT! Running the computer between 50%-75% processor power, creates tremendous heat. In my case: 1. Processors were at 109-212 degrees.... The MAX design limit is 212. 2. The laptop deck reached an astounding 128 degrees, measured with a infrared thermometer 3. The keys themselves reached 119 degrees 4. The track pad was approximately 95 degrees A $1,500 computer should efficient cooling and a 128 degree deck indicates inefficiency or broken equipment. The Spectre 13's heat issue, is widely reported on the Internet. I should have checked first.

Even though I have everything turned off relating to sleep mode. It still goes to sleep and is impossible to wake back up. The computer its self you can see is on the keyboard, lights etc, but not the screen it stays black. Have to hold down power button till it manually restarts computer. Which is not good. Also when I do updates that require a restart the same thing happens. Took it to geek squad and they say nothing is wrong with it. After having it week. I've only had this laptop a little over a month. Hardly even used it. Just bummed at all the money I wasted and the issues I'm having already.
