After my son reviewed the specs he was looking to utilize as he is a full-time college student. We decided the Spectre-360 would be the best choice. The lightweight and versatility is easy to handle as well.

I like that this solid state drive is fast to start up and shut down. The image is crisp and vivid and sound is great. Back-lighted keys are useful. The BAD is that I am finding black spotted and linear pixelated debre littering many pop-up windows and menu bars, sometimes blacking out the texts completely. At other times a shadow of this activity presents itself before a window fully loads--but is still a "spectre" of a deeper issue with either the OS or the video card, I am suspecting. I had the geek squad look at if it is a software issue-- but so far it is unresolved, and my fear is that it may be a big repair. Anyone hear of this happening? Also, the sensitivity of the touch-pad mouse required heavy tapping rather than a touch to activate the curser. I end up clicking the mouse button instead of tapping all the time. The Mute button is always getting stuck in "on/lit" position when I use it and requires computer shut down or reboot to resolve each time! WTF?!!

I was Looking to a purchase a light weight laptop for my home office use, I purchased a open box Laptop from store. Laptop box not displayed any proper information about laptop specification. I was looking for a i7 with 256 SSD laptop. Best buy store assistant said it is SSD laptop. After coming back to home I noticed it was 1TB hard drive and returned the laptop. Again I searched in the store and I found this HP Spectre 360 online and went 30 miles store to purchase. This open box item $810 and new one $899 (10% on the new laptop). Previous best buy offering the $50 off and on open laptops, so requested for $50 off from store floor manager. He said that store may be offering $50 on open box but we are not able to honer. I bought for $810+ tax. after coming home start installing, then noticed the power plug not related to USA( attached screen shoot). This is a Geeksquad certified open box( attached screen shoot). Geeksquad not verified when they are certified. My final recommendation please don't buy open box laptop's from best buy. This is a worst experience with Geeeksquad certified. I spent my time to travel,toll tax and Gas expenses to buy this laptop.Really very bad experience with open box laptop's from best buy.

I have been using this laptop as my daily driver for almost 1 month now, and I must admit I'm thoroughly impressed. This is an HP product I have bought after a long while (I had some bad experience with my previous HP printer and laptops), and I honestly took a bet after seeing the Spectre x360. The design is exquisite. It's not the lightest one out there, but still its incredible the power it packs for such a small device. Booting up and normal operation is a breeze. The loads of available ports actually makes a mockery of the dongle-madness that has ensued by the new MacBook Pro and even the new Spectre x360 (Kaby Lake). My only grievance is that the tablet mode is not the best - it's definitely no Microsoft Surface. The HP Active Stylus is not good as the Dell one (which I think is hard to find right now). It would've been a nice touch if they could bundle the pen with the laptop. Also, the included neoprene sleeve is not very convenient as it's too tight. The glaring keyboard light hotkey is an eyesore (fortunately you can turn it off in the updated BIOS setting). The sound is not the best, as both the speakers are bottom-firing. But overall, I really like this laptop for its aesthetic design and raw power. A definite buy if you're looking for a good convertible/2-in-1 and it's within the price range.

I have nothing negative to report in this laptop. It took me a little time to become familiar with using this laptop as I changed from an Apple MacBook Air. Yes, this seems like it has more functionality for what I am needing for an online masters program. The tech support has also been phenomenal to work with!
