Pretty OK
Posted .I wanted a small photo printer for my travel journaling and saw this HP. I also saw the updated version that printed 30% larger photos, I couldn’t decide which I wanted and ordered both to find out which is better for me. They both had the Zink printing paper with the sticker back and augmented reality capability. They both print just ok as far as quality. I needed to tweak the photos in edit before printing to get closer to the original photo. I noticed highlights were blown out and some were pretty grainy. I figured the smaller the photo the least noticeable the negatives would stand out. The difference was the cost of the unit and the paper as well as the size. Depending on the need/use I’d recommend the Sprocket and the smaller/older model over the Plus because of cost and ease of finding the paper compatible. (The Plus does not allow use of the smaller zink paper)

The Design Looks nice
|Posted .It’s okay, not the best as other reviewers I seen on this item. The design looks awesome then other ones I seen out there however I not sure if it’s the zink zero film that came with it but them images come out fuzzy. And I see good reviews here and in amazon also YouTube. I ordered some LG zink zero ink film to see if it’s the film or the HP sprocket. I saw that I have a 1 yaer warranty and I purchase a 2 years warranty as also there’s a white line that appears on the pictures I’ll upload do pictures

So much fun
|Posted .I bought this for myself to see if it would make a good Xmas gift. I have been very pleased so far. Easy to use, photo quality not great but good, paper very reasonably priced. I have pictures of my grandson, my great niece, my sister, and have given these away to family who were very impressed. They all want one now. Found my Xmas gifts.

Not impressed
|Posted .I bought this particular sprocket because it looked most appealing to me. I had heard good reviews & such, but was not prepared for the terrible quality that it offered. I tried to troubleshoot the issues I was having, but nothing got better. Don't get me wrong, the quality of the detail in these teeny prints is great..but the color is TERRIBLE! They do look "vintage" but that's not what I'm looking for. *each of the pictures that I provided were supposed to be very vibrant. I even edited them in the Sprocket app to reflect as such.

Q: Questiondoes it contain ink cartridges or what is there to do when it runs out?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It does not use any ink. Uses ZINK paper which is a paper that is an advanced composite material with cyan, yellow, and magenta dye crystals embedded inside and a protective polymer overcoat layer outside. Which means the paper itself is the "ink" so you only need to buy more paper, never need to buy ink.

Q: QuestionIs the quality of the photo like a regular photo or is it thin paper-like? Do the photos wrinkle easy, get scratched or fade quickly? Thx.
Asked by Nanie.
- A:Answer The paper has a nice thickness to it, and I've had a few pictures in my wallet I take out frequently with no scratches or crinkles. Paper seems very durable.
