Just what I needed.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a simple wireless mouse. I needed it for my computer because I live in a small travel trailer, (24' inside), and wires were everywhere. I got a wireless keyboard, and this mouse. It works just fine with the special chip that HP has. The USB plug will facilitate up to five HP wireless peripherals. I have experienced no problems with this mouse. Any chimpanzee could use it.

My first wireless mouse!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first wireless mouse and I love it...the freedom of not having to deal with the cord getting stuck on things on my desk. It's very responsive and I like the quiet wheel. Maybe best of all, I like the shape-- the way it feels in my hand--- very comfortable. I think I'm going to like the side buttons, too. I'm just getting used to them. My husband has one just like this and he says the batteries last a long time. That's great. So far, so good!

Easy install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this mouse with an HP Keyboard, which I didn't need an extra dongle to take up another valuable usb port. Price was good and the batteries lasts for a long time which is a great plus.

Smooth & Sleek Comfort!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to make a smart investment in this mouse not only because it's an HP, but because I also wanted something wireless with quick laser response that would be comfortable for me to use at home and on the go. So far it has accomplished everything I was expecting it to do and more. The battery life is great, just as long as you remember to switch it off of course. It's also kid-friendly which is a plus. No complaints here. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Q: QuestionHP - X4000 Wireless Laser Mouse - BlackI just bought the HP - X4000 Wireless Laser Mouse online on August 15th and just got it in the mail today, and I was wondering, Can this HP - X4000 Wireless Laser Mouse be used as a regular wireless mouse even though I don't have the HP - Wireless Keyboard that goes with this HP - X4000 Wireless Laser Mouse and I was also wondering how does this Link-5 micro reciever work? I don't get how it works and when does the LED indicator light come on to alert me when the battery runs low? and to alert me of the connection status?
Asked by xBecky83.
- A:Answer It comes with a mouse and a small piece that hooks into your USB port of your laptop, desktop or wherever you're using it. If it requires a battery you put that in if not turn the switch on should be on the bottom. Now if the piece is plugged into your device and Mouse is turned on lights should flash indicating it's on and set up is complete. How it works is some wireless technology in the piece that connects with the mouse even from a far distance

Q: QuestionI just got this mouse. Sometimes, the cursor seems a bit erratic. Does this have something to do with the blue ball under which there is the word "connect"?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer That blue ball is really a button, so I don't think that's the problem. It helps to use this mouse close to the dongle. I use mine right next to my laptop. If your dongle is insertet into a CPU on the floor, wires and such may be interfering.
