I have tried the no-name filters before and was always disappointed. Honeywell products are definitely made better and probably save money in the long run

This is specifically made for our Honeywell HCM-890 humidifier. Product literature call it a filter, when in reality it is a wick that absorbs / lifts water allowing it to evaporate into the surrounding air. It does exactly that.
