It does as designed for the price. Not wild about how much it extends from the side of the Surface and it doesn't fit flush due to the flanges around the ports. Easy to unplug though when you want to be mobile.

Worked fine but the mini display port did not work with a mini to hdmi adapter. The HDMI alone did work but not the mini display. I wanted to duplicate two screens but are unable to. I have a surface pro 6
