This Massager is Magic!
Posted .The Hyperice Hypervolt is a cordless vibration massage device, used in Vibration Therapy. If you've ever visited a Physical Therapist, you've probably seen the Hypervolt or Theragun. It works like a mini jack-hammer to help loosen tight muscles and reduce soreness from training sessions. The Hypervolt is cordless, compact and portable. When you first turn it on, what jumps out is the lack of noise. If you have been around other devices such as the Theragun, which is very NOISY this is like night and day. One feature I really like is that it has 4 LED lights that indicate the amount of charge in the battery, which is rated for about 3 hours of continuous use on a full charge. The Hypervolt also has 3 different speed settings, allowing you to adjust the intensity of the massage. It's also light, so you can use it with 1 hand, but has enough mass that you don't feel like you have to push into it to penetrate down to the muscle. So does it work? In a word, yes. Ironically, I broke my hip in a mtb accident almost 2 months ago, and for the first time in my life I just started Physical Therapy. My Physical Therapist uses the Hyperice on during our sessions. He also has the Theragun but prefers the Hyperice as he can converse with his patients while using it! But it's not just my saying I feel good after using it. There are also studies which show the many benefits of Vibration Therapy. In a study called “To Compare the Effect of Vibration Therapy and Massage in Prevention of Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS)” the result was that muscle soreness was reported to be significantly less for the experimental (vibration and massage) group as compared to the control group at 24, 48, and 72 hours of post-exercise. According to an article on Healthline, “When the vibrations are transmitted to your body, they cause your muscles to contract and relax. Certain types of vibrations may also cause your body to produce more osteoblasts. These are cells that produce bone.” Benefits of vibration therapy include an increase in bone density, reduced back pain, improved blood circulation, increase in muscle mass, and more. Even if you're not an elite athlete, if any of those benefits sound good to you, then I recommend that you check out the Hypervice Hypervolt.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5The chiropractor I worked for owned one, once I left I knew I needed one for myself. Its worth every penny! Its the perfect remedy after a long day at work and savior for those awful knots. I use it on myself after the gym to soothe sore muscles but also enjoy a massage from my husband. Its a pretty sturdy piece of equipment, it looks and feel powerful and meant to last. A bit heavy, my 7 year old sister couldnt hold it properly while giving me a massage. It does require some muscle to hold and maneuver it for a proper massage with 1 hand. I love all the different attachments, they all have their use, e.g. some give a more dull massage while "the bullet" attachment will get down to deep tissue. Battery is long lasting, I havent had the need to charge often. 100% recommend!

For athletes and non athletes the same!
Posted .So this might seem like overkill or a novelty. Well it is for sure. In I good way. I myself work out 4-5 days week in and week out. I also work light labor for a few hours a day 5 days a week. And I am always sore(mild). I also usually have tight knots throughout my body. Due to the heavy physical activity done daily. And this hypervolt massager works wonders. It’s light weight. But looks cool and high end. I can operate it with one hand. I’m no professional but I know the basics. I target the spots I can reach myself. And ask my wife to get the hard to reach spots. This product works amazingly. You feel looser and more relaxed after just a few minutes. There are 3 levels. I use level 2. That’s a perfect speed for me. Battery life last several hours. You also get several attachments. They are a ball shaped, a bullet shaped and some 2 prong looking one that I’m not sure if I will use. I’m satisfied with it. Works perfectly for my needs. We can all use a personal massager. Good luck!

quiet, massages muscles and relieves pain
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5It recharges quickly, it seems to last a long time between charges. It has safety features to try and keep you from overdoing the pulsing, thumping, vibration massage. I have used it on different muscles and seems to reduce pain from my back issues. It also helps in recovery of muscles after exercise. It has three speeds. You control the depth and strength by also the amount of pressure you push down on your muscles. I also purchased the carrying case. I would make the case a must have because it organizes everything, stores everything and make sit easy to transport.

My family's new, favorite gadget!
Posted .I knew this would happen. I knew that once we received the new HyperIce - Hypervolt vibration massage device that it would go missing in my house and I would have trouble getting my own time with the device. Yup - that's exactly what happened. I have teenage sons that love to work-out, lift weights and get buff. They lift hard and come home and talk about how sore they are. Boo Hoo. Always asking for back rubs, leg rubs, etc. Not Any More. Enter the vibration massage unit. WOW. I'll admin it looks a little menacing - almost gun like. However, it runs so smooth, so quiet - so much better than my Dewalt jigsaw with the massage ball attachment. There is no comparison. It comes with 4 massage attachments to really help get in there when needed. I absolutely love it. It holds a charge for roughly 2 hours - which is ample time to massage several people. It feels great on the back, neck, legs, arms, feet - just stay off the head and those boney areas. If you're an athlete that needs a good, penetrating massage or even if you are an office worker with shoulder and neck stress - you are going to LOVE this device. I don't give 5 stars very often at all - but this device rates HIGH on both mine and my family's list. You won't be sorry.

Q: QuestionHow loud (or quiet) does this get? My brother-in-law has a Theragun and it sounds like a power drill. Kind of takes the relaxing part out of it
Asked by Chris.
- A:Answer Not loud at all on the first speed. The third speed is of course is louder but definitely doesn’t sound like a power drill. It’s a quiet kind of loud if that makes sense. The sound doesn’t bother me at all.
