This allows me to hook up my headset to my PS4 and not my monitor to use my mic. I can still join up my headset to the 3.5mm jack on the back of my monitor. This gives me options and I like options

Mine did not and I was almost about to drop 300 on a new headset. Instead purchased this for 30 and so happy I did. Completely changed my gaming experience for a fraction of the price! Love it !

- A:Answer I bought this for my alpha clouds due to the plugin not working for my pc, and this solved the problem allowing headset and mic volume changes via rear usb connection of pc.

- A:Answer I just plugged this into my PC, and speakers into it. It sounds great. It's designed for the PS4 as well. It will sound great for you too. Bear in mind... it's a 30 dollar product. If you hook up low or mid grade speakers or if you have low or mid grade headphones, don't think that you will be getting superior quality. If your head set or speakers are at least very good quality, this USB sound card will satisfy your needs. Remember... 30 dollars.
