I shopped around for a very long time looking for my new computer. I initially wanted to build my own, but due to the unavailability (and jacked-up prices) of parts I eventually decided on this one after carefully researching and comparing dozens of different options. After two weeks, I am very happy with this machine: it runs lightning-fast, is very quiet, and is simply gorgeous. ASSEMBLY: It came pre-assembled in a box. It was well-packed and I had no issues. You just have to plug in the Wi-Fi antenna to the back panel and plug in the power and all the peripheral cables. The one thing I was surprised about was that it did not come with any instructions on what to do to set it up, but it wasn't hard to do. I used a YouTube unboxing video made by iBUYPOWER (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aT1MwaUVApY&ab&ab) to see what to do and it was not a problem. It took me maybe 15 minutes to get it going from when I took it out of the box. The video did mention an instructions and setup insert but my box did not have one - possibly because I bought from Best Buy instead of iBUYPOWER, but not sure. It hasn't been a problem though. This is the reason I gave it 4/5 on ease of use - I can imagine that someone less familiar with computers would be a bit lost at without the video. INITIAL IMPRESSION: I was very pleasantly surprised to see that this computer had no bloatware at all, unlike my past purchases from Dell and HP. When I first turned it on, it performed the Windows 10 setup. The desktop only had two shortcuts on it: Microsoft Edge and Aura Sync, which is the software that controls the RGB lighting on the fans. Unlike my past purchases, I didn't have to spend an hour uninstalling all the crap that was the reason I didn't want a pre-built in the first place. It booted up as a pristine fresh computer. I like how easy it was to connect all my devices and peripherals. It has 6 USB slots on the back panel and 2 on the top-front panel. The top-front panel also has the standard headphone and microphone ports. Make sure you plug your monitors into the ports on the graphics card, NOT the motherboard. The unboxing video makes this clear and there is even a sticker over the motherboard ports warning you not to use them. The graphics card I got has 1 HDMI input and 3 DisplayPort inputs - I did have to buy an adapter for my second monitor (which is old and uses a DVI connection), but I got one online for just a few bucks. PERFOMANCE: As far as performance goes, I couldn't be happier. I can play WoW and Rocket League at max settings with no problems. I haven't tried any other games yet, but it also is amazingly fast for my work needs. It multitasks very well. One unexpected thing was that on Zoom meetings, it can easily run video virtual backgrounds where my last machine sounded like a jet engine if I even tried to put a static image as the background (this is all without a green screen). Speaking of noise, this computer is very quiet. With headphones on, I never even hear it. Having a SSD is new for me, and I'm very impressed with how quickly it runs. It takes 10 seconds from when I hit the power button to having an open browser. I had to read up a bit on how to manage my storage since I didn't want to fill up the SSD too quickly, but figured out that I should configure my Documents/Photos/Videos/etc. folders to store on the HDD and install my games and commonly-used programs on the SSD. NEGATIVES: There really aren't many bad things to say. One thing is that the box did not include any kind of setup instructions, but that was easily remedied with the YouTube video I linked above. Sometimes the RGB lighting reverts to default settings, but simply opening the Aura app that controls the lighting causes it to snap back to my custom settings, so it's not a big deal. A very minor annoyance is that the beautiful tempered glass side panel came with a "Caution: Tempered Glass, Handle with Care" sticker on it that I haven't been brave enough to try to remove for fear that it will leave a permanent sticker smudge. Other than that, I can't really think of anything else that has been an issue. OVERALL: I love this computer! I teach from home right now so I am spending many hours each day on it, which has been a pleasure. It looks amazing and the case has lots of extra room in case I want to upgrade at any point. I will definitely purchase from iBUYPOWER again.

Finally bought a gaming PC for my son. This one from iBuypower is fast, Windows set up was easy, Fortnite was getting over 300FPS. However, the box was missing the the quick start guide, no foam inside to keep parts from moving inside while getting delivered. The biggest CON is that the the software to change RGB lights doesn't work. I get Error 0xFFFB. There is no Asr graphics card and Asr USB LED header! Help!

I had originally purchased a legion 5 gaming desktop for my birthday that would not even power on. I returned it and purchased this beauty. I don’t agree with the reviews that claim that it’s noisy because I did not have that experience. This PC was easy to set up right out of the box, It runs my games flawlessly and I haven’t even installed the extra RAM. It powers up fast and stays cool. The pictures also don’t do this desktop justice. It’s pretty and a great value for the price! I love my new gaming rig!
