Ok....to start, the listing for this PC on Best Buy states it comes with a 1TB SSD + 1TB HDD. HDD's are trash compared to SSD especially for gaming so I thought for the sale price of $1750 its still a great deal and I'll just upgrade the HDD to an SSD in the near future. Out of the box when I turned on the PC there was a noise which I figured out was a cable getting smacked by the cooling fan. Along with the noise the RGB lights on all the fans were flickering and then stopped lighting up. Cable management was a little bit of a mess and as I tried to adjust it the lights didnt turn back on. If this was a problem down the line I would just open it up and take care of business but being a brand new PC minutes old in my possession I thought to use Geek Squad because I became a Best Buy Total Member. The last thing I checked randomly was storage. In storage I only saw the one SSD, no HDD. I went into disk management to see if it just needed to be "enabled" or whatever but no other drive was connected. Ok so I made an appointment to drop off the PC at Best Buy Geek Squad the next day. They first advised to just exchange it but I waited 2 weeks for the PC and the exchange would be another week and a half with no gaurantee it wouldnt have its own problems. I asked them to please troubleshoot it and if it was messed up I would then proceed with an exchange. Theyre busy but as promised on the third day I got the call and the guy Dave, who was great, explained he took care of the cable management, connected the lights up properly and installed the program to manage the rgb light patterns. He then explained that there was no HDD and there wouldn't even be a place on the motherboard to comnect it without a "carrier" or something. I then went in to pick up the PC and showed him the purchase order that shows its listed with a 1tb SSD and 1tb hdd. He acknowledged that it was missing but I would have to go through ibuypower to get that missing part. Since he fixed the real issues and I had 60 days to return the pc I decided to just take it. He offered to install an upgraded SSD at no cost , just the price of the drive. As it was on sale I purchased an upgraded samsung ssd and he installed within minutes and got it connected in the disk management. I was happy, pc performs amazingly. Now the ibuypower side. I started a chat with ibuypower customer support the next day, after explaining everything the technician told me the model I purchased does not come with a HDD. I sent him a screenshot of my online order invoice with the best buy product description and he stated it was incorrect and I should've recieved that pc with (2) 1TB SSD. Mine only came with one and I was transferred to customer service. I was asked to submit pictures of motherboard and drives installed and sales invoice and they approved to have the missing drive mailed to me. So I still have to receive it but they are making things right. Icing on the cake, price of the pc dropped lower and best buy price matched it with the price match protection and I already got a redund of the difference. PC runs amazing, so far no issues but if anything comes up and I'm over it I have the 60 days to return the PC (obviously I'll uninstall the upgraded ssd). So with some patience everything so far worked out. Everyone worked to make things right which I appreciate. Thanks for reading my book.

Bought the Y40 set up about 4 months ago. I really like this build. The external features and the set up on the inside look amazing. Very organized and a lot of room for upgrades. I love the build combination of the 4070Ti Graphis and the memory as it provides great gaming and work experience. It seems well built for the most part. But right out of the box I noticed issues with a few visible cables not very well attached to the mother board. I had to push those in and make sure they were secured. I have no idea how the pins would be if there are any damages on them. Also, after 2 months it started to randomly restart and freeze in the middle of my work. Geek squad at Best Buy check it out and after a few windows updates it seems to be running great again. Overall, it's a good build but with some minor quality issues.

Well built and packaged extremely well. Foam inserted into the case keeping all the components secure while being shipped. It does have a random brand for memory but othet than that, everything else is name brand. Came with 2 individual 1tb nvme drives which is awesome because it was only suppose to come with one and a crappy hdd drive. Temps only spike to 65c when gaming. Plays tarkov on high settings with no issues on streets. Plays Ark with no issues on high settings. 60+fps on both.
