My elderly parents would not be able to stay in their home without this product. Before I purchased it we would find skillets burned dry on the stove with the burner still on. Now, the stove is locked whenever their caretaker is not there. Furthermore, I can unlock or lock it from my smart phone and from any location. It was easy to install and easy to program. I highly recommend it for senior citizens with dementia.

I absolutely love the iGuyardStove. It is perfect for monitoring my 92 year old mother's use of the stove. The company was wonderful to deal with... I called them to discuss the product and they advised me to purchase from Best Buy to save shipping cost, since they are located in Canada.

Purchased to lock the stove/oven in my aging mother's home. After a prolonged illness and insisting on being back in her own home, I wanted to make sure that confusion would not lead to disaster. This item is truly simple to install - I was able to do it myself, including moving the stove. The web interface is not bad once you get used to it. I like the motion detector, and it is really easy to allow for a "manager" to unlock temporarily if they want to use the stove. Customer service for this company has been excellent - I have e-mailed them a few times with questions and they have responded in just a few hours.
