This DVD was really interesting as soon as I put it in my TV I was thrown into a whole new world about ventriloquism from everything from the history about ventriloquism, to clips of great entertainers and their puppets, and interviews with some of today's more popular ventriloquists. This was more than just informational, it was kind of mind blowing to see and hear about these entertainers lives and how ventriloquism really works, and how hard it actually is to talk without moving your lips, try it! Gread DVD I'd definitely recommend to anyone interested in ventriloquism.

      best ventriloquist movie ever

Before I watched this movie, I only liked ventriloquism. Watching this movie made me have a lot more respect for the art, because it is a really difficult thing to do. And then on top of doing the act itself, translating it into a comedy act is another whole level. Although it was a documentary-style film (which usually isn't my taste), this movie kept my interest throughout and I enjoyed the entire thing. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone even acutely interested in ventriloquists.

      The Unknown Art

This documentary was really inticing and, it reeled me into how the artists got to where they are, how they began, who their influences were, when I was unfamiliar with anyone they were talking about. Some clips shown were vaguely familiar to me, but it really makes me want to youtube or look up other performances by names mentioned.

Besides knowing it involved puppets, and that you couldn't move your lips, I didn't know much about ventriloquism (or "venting"). After watching this movie though, I have a completely new found respect for the comedians that are ventriloquist. It really is an art form! Very informative and entertaining film!

Most documentaries tend to be bland or boring, but this is unlike most documentaries. I actually enjoyed this one! The DVD left me with a new appreciation for the art of ventriloquism and showed that ventriloquism is much more than throwing one's voice or speaking through a puppet.

This DVD is great because it explores and examines the world of ventriloquism. With many great interviews and clips from the early days showing the originality of their comedy. This is great for all who like comedy even if you are not a ventriloquist fan!

This was a really neat documentary. I liked how it covered all of the aspects involving ventriloquism stand-up. The interviews and the stand-up clips were very funny as well as informative about the art of ventriloquism. It's chock full of interesting information.

A good behind the scene show, if you want to know how Jeff Dunham makes his puppets and how he got started doin' what he does.
