After upgrading my lifestyle with a brand new MacBook Air, I also had to purchase this hard shell dot case, in order to protect it from becoming chipped or damaged. Sometimes I will turn the corner too quickly at the local coffee shop and came close to chipping/cracking the side. With this unique close fitting cover, I no longer need to worry about such accidents. The overall quality and value is amazing. I highly recommend this necessary case.

The color was very pretty. it looks just like the advertised picture and fits the computer perfectly. I would definitely buy it again if needed. It was a Christmas present for my daughter and she loved it. It isn't non slick but it does not slip out of your hand like other covers do. This brand has always been a quality brand for us.
