I had the iPhone 4 version of this case & loved it! It lasted 2+ years! The build of this one looked a little different and didn't get the best reviews on amazon, and I understand why. The part that actually holds the cards is very cheap! It isn't a two part case like I was expecting (rubber inside and a hard shell). Therefore, when you open the card slot, it opens right to the back of the phone. It also makes it difficult to pull out the cards. Overall, I may use this feature when I go somewhere I can't take a purse and need to carry my ID. Otherwise, I probably won't use the actual card holder.
However, there were some things I didn't think to look for when buying a case and actually turned into huge bonuses:
-The headphone jack area is pretty large so it can fit any headphone jack. I always have a problem because the cord in my car is so thick I have to remove the case every time but not anymore.
- The case around the camera area is wide and at an angle, so when you take a picture with flash on you don't get a glare (like I did with the iPhone 4 version of this case)
- The overall thickness of the case is pretty small, which I wanted. The phone is already pretty large and I didn't want a case that made it feel enormous.
If you really want the card holder and are going to use it daily (or weekend-ly) then this probably isn't the case for you.If you are only going to use it occasionally or to hide an emergency card, then this is perfect!
