Happy camper
||Posted .I read a lot of negative reviews on this TV and they were all as wrong as can be. This TV is legit. Roku works very well, CEC is pretty handy and works seamlessly. The only thing I would change is it needs 2 remotes. The remote it came with is fine for just channel surfing or easy random things. When going to a specific channel or trying to use a specific function, it gets a little weird. A lot of the buttons are multi function so trying to remember what does what it what apps can be frustrating. The picture is great, the built in speakers are better than my Samsung and LG, the Wi-Fi is easy to connect and hasn't caused any issues. Also, the remote should be Bluetooth like they are on the Roku sticks. It has to be pointed right at the TV for the IR to make a good connection which is pretty tedious at times. Otherwise I really enjoy this TV and 4 hdmi inputs is handy, I just wish it had 5 to be even better.

Nice image; lousy smart access directions
||Posted .Product is excellent- picture crisp, color rendering excellent. Once I was able to connect the smart aspects, no problem maneuvering from one app to another. The directions neglect to inform you that you DO need to join ROKU - even if you do not require their apps.... This means inputting credit card info. Given the fact the TV is to be used w/ Apple TV only, giving out credit info is not necessary. I had to go back to Best Buy to ask one of their Magnolia experts to read thru the directions (to see if I was missing the info) to which he replied that I wasn't delusional. He then told me the steps to take....

Best Bang for the Buck!!!
||Posted .Hard to beat this for the price... 4KUltra combined with the Roku platform alone is an incredible value... Then add the super fast a/c Wi-Fi network card... This TV outstreams my other Smart Wi-Fi devices hands down !!! Way to Go Best Buy.

Perfect
||Posted .I'm in love with this tv. Shows well, has the most apps I've ever seen for viewing tv, movies, and music videos. I also have a Vizio smart tv and it doesn't come close to this one. I don't even have cable hooked up to this one because any app you could imagine for viewing purposes is on this tv.

As good as I had hoped.
||Posted .So far, I'm very happy with my new Insignia Roku 4K TV. The picture quality, while not nearly as good some of the higher end models I've seen, is excellent for the price. Setup was easy, and It only took a few minutes to figure out how to work it.

Q: QuestionWill this remote also handle regular network TV stations like NBC, CBS etc? Want really simple interface so that do not need multiple remotes + confusion of inputs. Previous experience with Logitech universal remotes has been nothing but disappointing.
Asked by Evinx.
- A:Answer I am using an HD antenna and the built in Roku. the interface allows you to select the input source - you just click on the icon and it switches to the channels available through that access port. It shows the antenna, whatever apps you may have subscribed to, and any HDMI ports you have plugged in all on one screen. It does take a little time getting everything set up, made harder by the simplified remote (no keyboard to enter passwords, etc.) Once it's done, it's done though. My antenna gives me 26 local channels. You can also subscribe to all access apps for CBS, ABC or NBC (for a small monthly fee) if you want to be able to watch on-demand for those stations. HULU offers past season episodes from them but current seasons usually require a fee. I am subscribing to Sling TV, Hulu and CBS all access. So far so good!

Q: QuestionHow does the remote work without numbers on it, what do I do about flipping through channels?
Asked by Chris.
- A:Answer very slowly. The remote is ridiculously simple. Both cable remotes i have used integrated well

Q: QuestionCan I use roku via Internet connection only or I have to pay a service provider like sling to have access to roku channels?
Asked by Phong.
- A:Answer No, you do not. There are thousands of free streaming channels available. Sling is a pay service hat offers channels such as ESPN, History, National Geographic, AMC. etc. I use it thru my roku. Roku is just the device used to stream, like your dish. I have SlingTV (love it) and many other streaming channels, some free, some not free.

Q: QuestionWith the TV on the stand, how high before the bottom of the screen starts or how tall of a sound bar can sit in front of it?
Asked by JustWantToKnow.
- A:Answer The bottom of the screen is about 2½" from whatever surface you place the TV on. BUT.... There's a piece that hangs down in the middle, and I'm almost 100% certain this is where the IR receiver resides. This piece is only about 1½" up. Also worth noting that the stand occupies 5" of space out from the front of the TV (and width-wise it's about 24" at its narrowest, ~25½" at its widest IN FRONT OF THE TV--under the TV the stand is wider than this). I'd say a sound bar is impractical unless you either wall-mount both the TV and sound bar, or find a way to place the sound bar above or below the TV, and not in front of it.
