So far, loving it...
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.I had my first deep freezer for 16 years & actually still have it. The screws on the top came out, so I decided to buy a new one. The brand (Woods) was no longer available, but since I purchased it at Best Buy, I figured I’d buy my new one from here as well. So far, I absolutely love this new one. It’s much larger than my old one & it seems to freeze very well. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I’ve had it since 9/1/19. I am hoping this one last just as long as my old one, if not longer. I also love the look of this deep freezer. My sister saw mines & bought one as well. She seem to love hers just as much as I love mines. By the way, she had our childhood deep freezer & only bought this one because that one finally stopped working. It was at least 30 years old though. All this to say, her & I both like reliable long lasting appliances, so fingers crossed, this one will be...

Basic Deep Freeze
||Posted .Basic deep freeze/chest freezer delivered without any damage within 3 days of ordering. Followed the directions in manual and let it set for 2 hours after placement before plugging in. It is freezing great at the moment. The pictures will show the size and the depth of this 10.2 cu ft. I thought the price was fair and the fact BEST BUY said it was in stock and could be delivered quickly made it an easy decision to buy.

An excellent purchase.
||Posted .Owned for 11 months when reviewed.I love the Insignia brand and am extremely happy with this freezer. It holds so much more than I anticipated so I have a hard time filling it, but it is a nice looking unit which we decided to put inside the house instead of the garage. You should not put things on top of it though because it will dent easily (see pics).

Best chest freezer!!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Purchased this chest freezer a month ago to store meats and all sorts of frozen foods for my family of six and it is exactly what I needed. Doesn’t take up too much space in my basement. Highly recommend! Note: I haven’t had any issues with frost buildup to the point where I have to unplug it to let it thaw out. Perhaps it helps that I have a dehumidifier running all the time in my basement.

Useful busy Family Freezer
Posted .Purchased to store additional family food and those bulky purchases from CostCo. Baskets - for $36 I purchased 3 14x16x8 white wire baskets that fill one side of the freezer from Home Depot search "closetmaid 1088". They stack on top and have room to reach inside making it easy to organize food. Internal dimensions are 19" x 37" with height of 26", but one side has a block where machinery goes that removes a 19x9x9 block spanning the depth. The existing basket is 9" wide by 7" deep and spans the 19" depth. This basket slides from one side of the freezer to the next. Operating noise is low (slightly quieter than my 3yr old kitchen fridge freezer). Assuming it holds up for a few years I think its well worth the 230 sale price and will pay for itself if it saves my family from having to eat out 3 times due to lack of food in the house.

Q: QuestionWhat are the interior dimensions of the chest freezer?I need to know the interior dimensions before I can purchase the chest freezer. Those should include interior cavity height, width, and depth, as well as the height, width, and depth of the compressor hump. Thank you!
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Interior is 19" deep, 26" high and 37.75" wide. The compressor is on the right-side floor, it spans the depth and measures 9"x9" x 19". For sake of clarity, by depth I mean distance from front (where your waist is) to back horizontally - not depth looking vertically down. I measured twice cuz I know how important these dimensions can be. Hope this helps.

Asked by tman.
- A:Answer You should not have any issues placing the product into your garage.

Q: QuestionHow much does this chest freezer weigh
Asked by Renatta.
- A:Answer Around 100lb packed. We picked it up from the store, it wasn't too bad to lift on to the pickup, and moves easily once on the ground.

Q: QuestionCan you order more interior baskets from the manufacturer or Best Buy?
Asked by brsadiha.
- A:Answer The Insignia service desk (1-877-467-4289 gave me the number for The Parts Store (1-855-975-6831) and the part number 12932000000020 for the baskets that fit the 10.2 cu. ft. chest freezer. I ordered two of them and hope they are the right ones. FAPoe

Q: QuestionWhat are the temperature ranges? How cold can it get?
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer There is a dial labeled Min/Max. The coldness will depend on how full the freezer is. I have mine set on Max. That confused me at first since I had it on Min figuring it was minimum temperature. At Max with a full freezer it is at -12 degrees. We only go in to it a few times a week.
