Q: QuestionHow is a freezer also a refrigerator?how does it work(1 answer)
A: AnswerOn the front of the door, you select whether you want to use it as a refrigerator or freezer. It will automatically give the right temperature for the freezer or refrigerator. I think it’s great.Answered by Zanyjudy
Q: QuestionIs this garage ready?(8 answers)
A: AnswerI just got mine delivered yesterday and it is located in the garage. When I asked the salesman at the store, the first guy I talked to told me that it was not best to put it in the garage. When I went back, the salesman who placed my order (who also happened to be a manager in the department) told me that this model was able go in the garage because of some special coiling/insulation that is used on this particular model/brand. The guy that delivered my appliance yesterday told me that I should be good to go, especially since the fridge/freezer is sitting on a concrete platform in the garage (elevated above where our vehicles are resting before going into the house) which will protect it from getting wet.Answered by DST2006
- A: Answerit defrosts during normal operation. You don't need to take out your food

Reliable Freezer/refrigerator
Title: A Versatile and Reliable Freezer for Your Garage: Insignia™ 17 Cu. Ft. Convertible Upright Freezer Review: I recently purchased the Insignia™ 17 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Convertible Upright Freezer in stainless steel, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This freezer is a game-changer for anyone looking to expand their frozen storage space without compromising on performance or convenience. First and foremost, the build quality of this freezer is outstanding. The stainless steel exterior not only looks sleek and modern, but it also ensures durability and longevity. The unit feels solid and well-constructed, giving me confidence that it will withstand the test of time, even in a potentially harsh garage environment. One of the standout features of this freezer is its convertibility. With a simple adjustment, you can switch between freezer and refrigerator modes, providing incredible flexibility to suit your needs. Whether you need extra freezer space for bulk buying or a refrigerator for beverages during a party, this appliance has got you covered. The 17 cubic feet of storage capacity is more than sufficient for most households. The interior is intelligently designed, with adjustable shelves and bins, allowing you to customize the space according to your preferences. The bright LED lighting illuminates the entire freezer, making it easy to locate and access items, even in low-light conditions. What truly sets this freezer apart is its "Garage Ready" feature. It is specifically designed to operate flawlessly in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F (-17.8°C to 43.3°C). This means you can confidently place it in your garage, basement, or any non-climate-controlled area without worrying about compromising its performance or damaging the contents. Speaking of performance, this freezer excels in both cooling and energy efficiency. It quickly reaches and maintains the desired temperature, ensuring your food stays frozen or refrigerated properly. The Energy Star certification is a testament to its energy-saving capabilities, helping you reduce your electricity bills while minimizing your environmental footprint. The noise level of the Insignia™ 17 Cu. Ft. Convertible Upright Freezer is impressively low. The compressor operates quietly, allowing you to place the freezer in a variety of living spaces without causing any disturbance. The user-friendly digital controls and temperature display make it effortless to set and monitor the freezer's settings. In terms of maintenance, the frost-free design eliminates the need for manual defrosting, saving you time and effort. The unit also features a handy door alarm that alerts you if the door is left open, preventing any accidental spoilage of your precious food items. To sum it up, the Insignia™ 17 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Convertible Upright Freezer in stainless steel is a fantastic addition to any home or garage. Its versatility, robust construction, ample storage space, and efficient performance make it an excellent investment. With this freezer, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your frozen or refrigerated items are always well-preserved. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and flexible freezing solution.

Exactly what I needed
Really happy with this purchase. The door seal is tight, you can adjust the temperature, it’s spacious. Everything I wanted. The only minor complaint is that there isn’t hardware to switch what side the door opens on.
