Broken ice maker 6 months in, but otherwise good

The only thing is that the ice maker broke and the part was out of stock everywhere. Best Buy offered to replace the entire fridge, but it was such a hassle to get it up a narrow staircase, had to remove 2 doors to get it in. I decided to just order the ice maker myself and swap it out, which proved to be a challenge in itself. But everything else works as designed.

The ice comes out slow even when not crushed and i thought it would hold more ice than it does. So minimal "complaints" for a fridge we really enjoy! Definitely recommend

Scratched extremely easy

It came from the back of the cards, and it was 3 different ones that all left scratches. Very disappointed in this because they are very visible.

Not enough stand up room for say a gallon of milk. Better refrigerator for a couple or single person. No convienent for large family

- A:Answer It should be cool after that time, try adjusting the temperatures by changing them on the front panel. Press and it will rotate through the available settings, leave on the coldest setting. If doesn’t work, unit may have had a leak in shipping.

Q: QuestionHow does the auto defrost cycle work on this Insignia? The freezer is at -11 and after 2 days ice cream is not solid. There is more frost inside freezer than you would think.there should be. Can defrost be manually initiated. No manual with unit.
