Awesome Ice Maker
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is a beast. It works better than advertised. It takes up very little counter space and produces large amounts of ice quietly and quickly. It will really come in handy this summer when we’re trying to entertain. I would highly recommend this product.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Take a step in the right direction for easy solution to going to get ice at convenience stores, your broken ice maker, or potential flooding problems from leaking ice maker, or replacing those expensive water filters for your fridge!! Bought the insignia ice maker and have not been happier in a long time with how an appliance solved the problem. Stop your troubles concerning ice at your house, patio, and around the house or apartment.

Good Ole Ice!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a Great ice machine. It has three sizes you can choose from it works very well. Only small issue I have is it takes a while to drop ice, 7 minutes seems long but it’s not that long. I am an ice eater, so it’s long to me. I wish the ice was a little softer, plus the ice when left in machine recycles itself, so you don’t waste water. I’m happy with my purchase.

Great Little Ice Maker
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your ice maker is broken or you keep running out of ice, this machine can help. I put it in my mudroom just a few steps from my kitchen. It is easy to refill, drain and clean the water reservoir. I hold a towel under the basket as I dump the ice into my (broken) ice maker storage so it can be dispensed through the door ice dispenser. Lights on the front indicate when the basket is full of ice and when it needs more water. We have retired our ice cubes.

Life changer for the beverage station
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I would not have waited as long as I did to buy one of these. Its so convenient and easy. It makes more than we can use so we bag it and keep in the freezer for the cooler. I placed it on top of the beverage cooler for added convenience.

Q: QuestionWhat size ice cubes can it make? Does it do the little small ones (like Sonic)?
Asked by KWTexas.
- A:Answer No it does not make Sonic size ice cubes. My review has a picture of the medium cubes and the small and large don't differ much in size, only thickness.

Q: QuestionAm I correct in assuming the 2.2 lbs of storage is kept frozen?
Asked by Kramer.
- A:Answer Not really, I would say it is kept cool being inside of the machine next to where the ice is being made. Once the ice is made, it slides into the ice basket. The machine is made so that as the ice slowly melts in the basket, it drips into the water reservoir below. Last night I had a full basket and about 10 hours later there was only a few small pieces of ice left in the bottom.

Q: QuestionHow much ice does it make per hour?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Manual says "33 lbs. each day", so based on the math about 1.4 pounds per hour. Personal experience is only based on number of cubes, which on the large setting is 9 cubes about every 10 minutes, so 45 cubes an hour.

Q: Questioncan this be connected to a water supply?
Asked by sadieo90.
- A:Answer No. Water is poured in from the top of the reservoir. I have mine next to the kitchen sink and use our nozzle/hose or a pitcher to pour the water in.

Q: QuestionIs the green power light supposed to flash on and off when the ice maker is not turned on?
Asked by Dane.
- A:Answer Ours is also doing the flash green light when we shut it off to refill. I assume that’s what it’s supposed to do.

Q: QuestionIs this portable Ice Maker easy to clean? We've had issues with a similar product in the past that made it not worth the hassle.
Asked by RLS.
- A:Answer so far we have not had a cleaning issue. Have used several time and although we are on well water we usually run gallon jugs of filtered water to make our ice.

Q: QuestionDo the ice cubes stay wet or dry , would they turn into a clump when you put them in freezer
Asked by Bren.
- A:Answer What I do is let it drop 3 or 4 batches and put them in a plastic container in my freezer for about 5 or 10 minutes. They will freeze solid, I break them up and throw them in my ice bin that is accessible from the front of my fridge. This thing is not perfect, nothing is, but it is so much cheaper than replacing the icemaker in a 20 plus year old fridge. It is a godsend to our family. I can fill my fridge ice bin in about 6 hours and roughly 3 quarts of water.
