Pleasantly surprised with washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I've been in need of a new washer since September 2022. At that time I read alot of reviews for all the leading manufacturers for their washers. Frankly it concerned me about all the negative reviews. Didn't want to spend $800-1000 for a problematic new High Efficiency washer. So I purchased a used washer. It lasted only a couple of months, now back in the same boat. In shopping for a new machine came across this Insignia washer. Reasonably priced so I gave it a shot. Have had it 2 months and Very Happy with it's performance, ease of use, and it's not that noisy. It has a button that allows for extra water if desired. Multiple settings for type of washing cycles. Although the manual does not explain the differences in the water temperature settings, a little searching revealed the difference between Cold & Tap Cold, also Warm & Eco-warm. Nice options to have. Also the Start Button doubles as the Pause button which allows you to pause the Cycle operation so as to add softener, bleach, or additional items that you may have forgotten and once lid is closed the cycle continues in the exact same spot w/o restarting which seemed to be a complaint with other manufacturers.

Excellent Dryer and a Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This is an excellent washer that both looks great and works very well. It is very efficient and is capable of holding a good amount of clothing for each wash. It's an excellent value as well...I am very pleased with my purchase.

Love, Love, Love!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed.I am so glad I made this purchase. I absolutely love this washer. The features are amazing, the value is amazing, and the size of the drum is huge! There is a button for delayed start time as well as everything from light to heavy loads. You can change your water temperature, add more water with a click of a button, or use the hand wash cycle. Washes really well.

Could be better
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Don’t really like how my clothes look like after wash. Next washer will be definitely front load as this one tends to stretch clothes. Other than that (and this for me is important) works well, I don’t mind the noise cause it stands in laundry room and we don’t use it during the night time.

Great product that came with a huge dent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Overall the washer works fantastic, but was delivered with a huge left sided dent that had to be caused at the manufacturer’s facility, not from the delivery men. The dent is where the foam padding was in the box and the outside box was not damaged, which lets me know it was packaged this way.

5 star machine ☆☆☆☆☆
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. After moving 1700+ miles, I purposely chose to buy my 2nd Insignia washing machine to replace the one I had. It has proved to be a superior appliance. It is a large capacity machine, and handles washing blankets, several coats, towels and bulky items extremely well. The spin cycle spins clothing almost dry! I love all the options, and that I can choose "more water", extra spin, whatever the load requires. It's a bit noisy when it self levels the load and agitates, but I don't care at all due to the fact that my clothing is clean! Love, love, love this machine! 5 stars from me ☆☆☆☆☆

Q: QuestionHas anyone had a problem with this washer getting out of balance on the spin cycle and having to be readjusted? If so how frequently?
Asked by lisapmjo.
- A:Answer I've had this washer 2 months and it has only happened 1 time. I had a rug and 1 other item. The washer will try 3 times to balance itself then it will give an error code. Just need to adjust items in washer and restart. I wash about 10 loads of laundry a week. Clothes, blankets, pillows, rugs, towels, etc. 1 time in 2 months seems decent enough to me. I'm sure if I'd of filled the load it may have not happened. Rug was dirty and I wanted to wash alone.

Q: QuestionWho make the insignia washer?
Asked by belle858.
- A:Answer This topload washer is neither an LG or Samsung unit, it is made by Frigidaire. It is basically the Frigidaire model FFTW4120SW rebadged.

Q: QuestionI just bought this machine, but it when it starts it turns on empty for about 10 seconds before even filling the water is this expected ?
Asked by migo.
- A:Answer Yes. It starts dry to analyze how much laundry is in the tub and uses the agitator to rotate & move around the clothes for a balanced wash. It does this to dispense the exact amount of water needed to began a high efficient cleaning cycle. It kinda distributes the weight evenly in the tub through out the washing cycle to assure a great wash.

Q: QuestionIs there an AGITATOR in machine? Does it actually agitate the clothes during wash cycle or just spin them like the newer machines?
Asked by BestBuyBuyer.
- A:Answer Yes there is a aggitator and it washes by moving about half a turn to the right and then half turn to the left. The cycle you choose depends how hard the aggitator spins. Spins softer on delicate cycle.

Q: QuestionThe water does not cover the clothes in the washer, even when I use the water plus option. How do I get more water?
Asked by Annie.
- A:Answer Hit water plus again & again if you have to. It will sense when the load is covered and not let you add more water anymore. Push the water plus button at beginning of wash along with your other settings. Mine covers all the way to the rim for heavier and bigger loads.. hopes this helps..

Q: QuestionI want to know how I can soak and bleach my dish towels. I don't know how to get the water and bleach in the machine then to add the towels as the towels have to be in and the lid shut before the water comes in.
Asked by Pepper.
- A:Answer As others have stated, you can use the soak button, but you can also pause the machine. Have it fill up, hit pause to unlock the lid, add detergent and bleach directly into the water, close lid and hit pause to get machine to start again. After it has agitated a bit (to distribute detergent and bleach), hit pause to stop the cycle. After items have soaked for your desired length of time, hit pause to continue the wash.

Q: QuestionDoes this washer really have a stainless steel drum? When looking at the pictures, the drum does not look like stainless steel at all. On the matching dryer, in the picture the drum definitely looks stainless. The specs dont say a thing.
Asked by Geosam.
- A:Answer You are correct that the picture makes it appear that the tub is porcelain. I contacted customer support before I ordered & they assured me that it was a stainless tub. It is & so far the machine is amazing. No issues at all so far.
