Mmm...cold draft beer at home.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed.I bought this kegerator to use as a built-in in a basement bar. We allowed plenty of space on all sides because it is meant to be a freestanding unit. But if you are considering the same, know that it can be done and it works well. Set up was a cinch. The unit itself and all the parts are good quality. There was a little fiddling with finding the right C02 pressure. Running at 10-12lbs seems to be a good balance between slow pour vs. foam. Also froze the lines a couple times before I found the right temp setting. Just below 4 on the dial gets me a nice 36deg. We're really enjoying the kegerator so far and can recommend it to anyone considering one.

Great for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. For the price this unit is great. I got it on sale for under $500. I did put an aftermarket tower and faucet on it. The ones that came with it work, but are definitely cheap quality. The stock tower twists on with plastic tabs, and moves when you pull the tap handle. The upgraded tower screws in to holes that are there from the factory.

Insignia kegerator 4.5 stars
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This kegerator is great. Only real complaint is that it is a little loud when compressor kicks on. Love being able to pour my favorite beer (Kentucky Christmas Morning from Hardywood) whenever I want.

Definitely needs mods...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Bought this for my husband for his birthday. While it does keep the beer very cold, getting the Co2 dialed in is a challenge. I am going to take the advice of a few previous reviewers and make some modifications and see how it goes...

Love it! But..
||Posted .I love this kegorator but I think it could be built a little better as far as cooling goes. I have my set at the highest setting 6 for over a week and the lowest temp it reached was 40. One morning it was 23 degrees! Not sure why the temp changed so suddenly. Now it's back at 40 degrees. The first half of the first beer is always foam. I built a tap tower cooler out of scrap parts and spent a total of $7. No more foam in the first beer! Amazon they are $60 for the coolers. This kegorator holds a half keg with ease with the shelves removed. Glad I made this purchase but I wish that I didn't have to customize mine to get the perfect beer.

Kegerator
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. So got this for my dad for Christmas and my cousin is a brewmaster at a brewery so he helped set it up. Beer is COLD!! Only on the first time of the day pouring a cup it can be a little bit of foam which is normal but after it’s perfect. Zero issues and zero leaks. Going to convert it soon for 2 taps instead of 1. Also bought these plugs so while we aren’t using it, helps from nothing going inside and keeping it clean.

Worth every penny!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Bought this puppy in the midst of COVID when all the bars were shut down! Got it on sale and bought the 4 year warranty but don’t think I’ll need it. My research shows this has GE guts and will last forever. It will fit two 1/6 kegs and can be modified to have two taps. For now I have the single one set up. Draft beer at home!! I don’t think I’ll ever buy cans again. Highly recommend this to friends and family.

Q: QuestionCan you take off the draft tower and install a new one with multiple faucets? I am a homebrewer and can fit 3 korny kegs inside. If so, what size would I need to buy to fit?
Asked by DirtyNay.
- A:Answer The single tap tower is a twist lock, but underneath it has 4 threaded holes for what seems like a standard 3" tower. I bought a 2 tap Kegco tower and even the screws it came with fit the thread. I used the Kegco DT2F-630SS. You can put the CO2 tank on the back with a mounting bracket for the exterior and feed the line through a hole that is plugged. I'm not sure if it would fit 3 korny kegs, but two sixtels fit without any problem.
