Mmm...cold draft beer at home.
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.I bought this kegerator to use as a built-in in a basement bar. We allowed plenty of space on all sides because it is meant to be a freestanding unit. But if you are considering the same, know that it can be done and it works well. Set up was a cinch. The unit itself and all the parts are good quality. There was a little fiddling with finding the right C02 pressure. Running at 10-12lbs seems to be a good balance between slow pour vs. foam. Also froze the lines a couple times before I found the right temp setting. Just below 4 on the dial gets me a nice 36deg. We're really enjoying the kegerator so far and can recommend it to anyone considering one.

Love it! But..
||Posted .I love this kegorator but I think it could be built a little better as far as cooling goes. I have my set at the highest setting 6 for over a week and the lowest temp it reached was 40. One morning it was 23 degrees! Not sure why the temp changed so suddenly. Now it's back at 40 degrees. The first half of the first beer is always foam. I built a tap tower cooler out of scrap parts and spent a total of $7. No more foam in the first beer! Amazon they are $60 for the coolers. This kegorator holds a half keg with ease with the shelves removed. Glad I made this purchase but I wish that I didn't have to customize mine to get the perfect beer.

Love it!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. Is there anything better than a fresh draft beer after a long day at work? The answer is no! Great delivery and price for an awesome product. Simple set up and it works great. I have been consistently running an internal temp of 33 degrees and the local IPA keg has been pumping out beer at 35 degrees. Super happy with this kegerator as are my friends.

Fantastic
Posted .This is my first kegerator so I can't attest to how well this performs to higher end models. However, I must say that finding a name brand stainless steel kegerator for less than $500 is difficult. I bought this on sale at Bestbuy. It works great! Assembly was easy. The unit did come dented on the door, but it was so minor it didn't feel worth taking back. It cools the beer to 34 degrees at the 5.5/6.0 setting. Keeping beer cold is key and keeping CO2 levels in check is key in reducing foam. Unfortunately, I had about 3 lbs of CO2 leak out. It was my fault for not putting the supplied O ring on the keg coupler and I don't believe I fully twisted the keg coupler properly on my second keg. However, CO2 is cheap ($15 at local paintball supply in the Atlanta area). It's only a pain in that I live 30 min from my supplier. So make sure your connections are tight and secure. The best way to check for leaks is with soapy water and by weighing the tank (it weighs 8.14 lbs, so just add 5 to that for a full tank weight excluding the regulator and hosing). A 5lb tank should last about 6 half kegs or 17 1/6 kegs (I get the 1/6 kegs to change it up more often and to save my back hauling it upstairs). So, I think the 5 lb tanks works out great. If your beer is too foamy just increase the temperature dial number on the back of the fridge (lower temp) and lower your CO2 (using less is better, right?). You may also want to consider using keg lube on your O rings and invest in a cleaning system (I use it after every 2 kegs). I recommend Brew Clean by Keg Connection and Petro Gel food grade lubricant. I don't see the need for a tower fan for this unit. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Worth every penny!!
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Bought this puppy in the midst of COVID when all the bars were shut down! Got it on sale and bought the 4 year warranty but don’t think I’ll need it. My research shows this has GE guts and will last forever. It will fit two 1/6 kegs and can be modified to have two taps. For now I have the single one set up. Draft beer at home!! I don’t think I’ll ever buy cans again. Highly recommend this to friends and family.

Kegerator
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. So got this for my dad for Christmas and my cousin is a brewmaster at a brewery so he helped set it up. Beer is COLD!! Only on the first time of the day pouring a cup it can be a little bit of foam which is normal but after it’s perfect. Zero issues and zero leaks. Going to convert it soon for 2 taps instead of 1. Also bought these plugs so while we aren’t using it, helps from nothing going inside and keeping it clean.

Perfect addition to the home bar
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Considering we’ve had this about 4 weeks and we’re already on our 4th sixtel I’d say it’s working out pretty good. I have always wanted one and when a friend who owns a brewery was worried about loosing kegs because of covid 19 I decided it was time. Turns out it’s cheaper to buy this way so the kegerator will eventually pay for itself. Love the finishing touch it gives my home bar. Should have gotten this years ago set up was easy and it functions flawlessly. Almost like being at the taproom.

Better than I imagined
||Posted .Took 10 minutes to get it set up and running, at minute 11 I was drinking my first glass of beer. The tap tower is a little wobbly but you don't have to yank on the handle, it comes with extra seals and clamps. It works great out the box just have to fine tune the co2 pressure, I found it works well at 8 psi. Its easy to move and is very quiet, you almost can't hear it running.

Q: QuestionCan you take off the draft tower and install a new one with multiple faucets? I am a homebrewer and can fit 3 korny kegs inside. If so, what size would I need to buy to fit?
Asked by DirtyNay.
- A:Answer The single tap tower is a twist lock, but underneath it has 4 threaded holes for what seems like a standard 3" tower. I bought a 2 tap Kegco tower and even the screws it came with fit the thread. I used the Kegco DT2F-630SS. You can put the CO2 tank on the back with a mounting bracket for the exterior and feed the line through a hole that is plugged. I'm not sure if it would fit 3 korny kegs, but two sixtels fit without any problem.
