I needed dvi cables for my computer home desk set up and these cables are at perfect length and displays the full HD on my new Dell monitor.

This isn't just a DVI cable as the label would lead you to believe. This is a DVI-D Single Channel, I needed a DVI-D DUAL CHANNEL. If you aren't sure what the difference is make sure you look it up, the reason I'm saying this is because this particular device happened to fit my graphics card / monitor, but you need to make sure that you don't need an actual DVI, or DVI-I,DVI-A,DVI-D Single or Dual. The packaging was correct, however the description on bestbuy.com, and the specs were incorrect.

When I bought my new Acer S200HQL monitor to go with my new MacBook Air, there was one thing I wasn't sure of: Did it come with a VGA cable? The monitor box said nothing about it so I wasn't sure. (Turns out it DOES come with a VGA cable.) So, on my way out of the store, I tried to come up with the best/cheapest connection scheme I could. I prefer using DVI over VGA whenever possible, and it just so happened that there was an "open box" DVI connector on sale for about $15. At that price, the connector and a new DVI cable (this one) were about the same price as just a VGA connector all by itself! So, I got the connector and this cable, and they've been working flawlessly since the first time I plugged them in.
