I was skeptical about this tv. I figured I would wait 1 month before I wrote a review. For the amount spent ($700) you cannot find a better tv for the money. I own 2 other insignia tv's so I'm familiar with them. Let me tell you won't be disappointed, once you find the sweet spot in the picture settings. This isn't a oled so don't expect that level if picture quality, this is an affordable tv that will give you a really nice picture.

A most excellent television! We bough the 55 inch 1080 Insignia 10 8 years ago and it was wonderful. When we saw this 65 4K Insignia for less than we bought that 55 inch tv we just had to get it. Insignia is a great brand that never fails. This smart tv starts up almost instantly- just turn it on and a couple seconds later it's on! Not like other tvs where you have to wait 20-30 seconds just for the picture to come on. We currently have a blu-ray player and an apple tv plugged in to it and the tv does upscale 1080 picture- though not all the way up to 4K of course.

This 65 “ iis sleek, has great picture quality and I love the built in Roku. The sound quality is not bad but iI already had a surround sound system that Ive had for 10 years, so I had to buy an optic cable to hook up to the tv. Overall great buy for the money. Pic is clear and crisp and of course if you have cable you can program the cable remote to use with the tv if you don’t want to use the roku remote. By the way the Roku remote does have volume control for the tv located on the side of the remote.
