I'd have to say that for a controller that doesnt have rumble or motion sensing is a great controller. Its More comfortable to play with then Joy-cons. I recommend it to anyone that wishes to stay inputed into the game.

This set is better than Nintendo oem controllers, joy cons fit better and There's no hard pressing like the other oem set

Ok, let's be honest, do you NEED these wheels? No. Will you have fun playing with them? Absolutely! I purchased these so that my kids (4 and 3) could play Mario Kart 8 without feeling overwhelmed. The game features options for auto acceleration, tilt steering, and smart steering (keeps the player from driving completely off the track). With all of these options turned on and the joy-cons snapped into their wheels, anyone can feel like they're a veteran Mario Kart player. As someone who's been a gamer since the original NES of the 80's, it's so much fun to watch my kids enjoy themselves while playing a game that without these wheels and options be completely over their heads. I highly recommend purchasing these wheels.

I purchased these because they were $5 less than the official ones from Nintendo. I also have the official Nintendo ones but I chose to use these instead because they came in red and blue whereas the official ones were both black and I have gray Joy Cons. Comparing the two sets, the official ones look like it was better made and I was a bit concerned. However, I used these during races and they were great! They L/R buttons worked perfectly--something I was concerned about when I first look at them. Now I use these exclusively due to the colors. When I get other color joy cons, I will take out my Nintendo ones to use.

I haven't used the Nintendo wheels, but these seem to work perfectly fine for Mario Kart. I had no trouble fitting in the joycons into to wheels or taking them out, and the triggers work perfectly. The triggers have a decent amount of travel, but they really register the click with very little travel. My kids love the colors and think it's more fun than just using the joy cons alone. These are small as others have noted, but that's the standard for these wheels. I'm only taking off a star because it's really just a piece of plastic, and there is no cutout to show the controller light indicators. You can still sort of see them if you look at the gap between the wheel and the joy con, but other wheels seem to have a cutout for them.

I don’t know how these compare to the official ones, but these are good quality steering wheels, at first you think you might use this as a stinger and we’l I don’t know how these compare to the official ones, but these are good quality steering wheels, he’s are more useful as reps and they are actual steering wheels, because Mario kart is more responsive if you play with the analog stick instead of turning these to turn in the game, with that being said there’s two trigger button behind the wheels that you can’t seeing these pictures,

I thought these would be fun, especially for my children and wow, they loved them! They have a blast playing Mario Kart and actually winning lol. They’ll get the hang of the “traditional way” of playing Mario Kart later on once they’ve played enough but for now, they can get 1st place finally. Plus, their confidence went up sooo much after winning so many times. These are great and loads of fun! Highly recommended for children.

The wheels are smaller than the Wii U wheels due to the controllers being a lot smaller but are still comfortable to use and hold. Since this brand is not from Nintendo I am very impressed how it matches the red and blue color controllers exactly. The price was excellent and was half the price of the Nintendo brand wheels. The wheels work great with the system and would recommend to all.
