I used this to connect my 2011 Macbook Pro to my new Acer monitor and it had horrible squiggly red lines all over. I thought there was something wrong with my MacBook and had it checked out by Apple. Nope, turns out it was the adaptor. I bought the Apple branded one instead and have no issues. Returned this one for store credit.

I have two different monitors that I wanted to use for my MacAir. Both had DVI-D connectors and each were 24" monitors, though each had different resolutions, with one at 1920x1200 and the other 1920x1080. So far the adapter has worked great for both with plug and play at startup of the MacAir. This adapter was cheaper than the Apple brand adapter. The adapter plugs in tightly into the computer and has screw connections with the DVI-D cable, the adapter lays flat on a table, so there is no tugging of the cable.

I came across this product online and figured I'd give it a shot. The adapter is pretty durable and at the price I really couldn't find better. I would definitely recommend this product to other people
