Q: Questioncharged? The instructions i got were so brief i am not sure if I should use it before charging and if i do a first charge, for how long should it be connected to a charger? how do I know it is fully charged?
Asked by steven.
- A:Answer It will have some charge on it originally, and the length of time charging will depend on the adapter you are connecting to the wall outlet with. In most cases between 2 and 4 hours.

Q: QuestionCan I charge my phone while the battery pack is charging? That is, can I connect my phone to the battery while charging the batteery?
Asked by eneas.
- A:Answer NO, per the manual. In the Safety Information section it says: "Do not use the mobile battery while charging is in progress". Although you actually CAN do it, it's safer not to. Electrical or overheating problems could possibly occur if you do both at the same time, especially if the charger, or the item being charged, has a defective electrical system.

Q: QuestionDormant battery lifeWhen fully charged, how long will the charge in the battery last until it is used? Is the dormant battery charge good? On an extended back packing trip will the charger hold its charge until needed, say a week?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer We have found the dormant battery charge to be excellent in our case. I always have ours charged and ready to go in case we need it. Sometimes it has sat dormant for close to a week, and it was still fully charged when we needed it. There is a button you can click on it to show you how charged it is before using it, and ours always shows as fully charged after sitting dormant. And, we have always gotten the full charge out of it when using afterwards. Also, we noticed that if you are charging an item and that items reaches its full charge, the battery pack will power off. It's nice, because then you aren't wasting any power that's left on the pack. I highly recommend this item. It's a great backup, and a full charge on this is capable of recharging several items...phones, tablets, etc
