INSIGNIA SELFIE TRIPOD WITH BLUE TOOTH REMOTE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am 79 and trust me, I was worried when I chose this item but it was the only alternative to let my grandchildren know who I am aside from spending $1500 air fair to Switzerland plus misc. expenses... I took it out of the box, unfolded the legs, set the camera in, put it in picture mode, stood back, clicked the remote and off I was.....did a dance for the kids so they would laugh and then talked about what we were doing in Cleveland....buy it...can't go wrong I

Decent tripod for phones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to shoot videos for online upload using my phone. It holds my phone (GS7) nicely. Bendy legs make it relatively easy to position. The phone holder pivots nicely but at certain angles it tends to tip over. I don't use the shutter button much though it does work pretty seamlessly. WOULD recommend.

Great tripod for beginner.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tripod is able to hold a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with an Otterbox Defender case. Definitely love the Bluetooth key pod. Would of given this a 5 star rating if the key fob let me switch between photo & video. Works as described. Very happy with the product.

Steve's remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I works very well. I like the tripod. I wrecked the screw on the remote and had to dig it out to get to the battery. t would be nice to have an on-off light on the remote. Otherwise, very good. I like it. I had more trouble adjusting the camera which has nothing to do with this product.

Works fine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this to secure my iPhone 6S+ when taking photos or vids. The included Bluetooth shutter remote is an unexpected delight. I've used other desktop tripods with my current phone as well as smaller versions and it was not as stable. The legs on this tripod are both rigid and flexible. Today, I wrapped one leg around a mic stand and shot a few photos using the shutter remote and it went quite well.

Only holds phone in landscape position
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tripod is made well, but only raises your cell phone about 8 inches from the surface it's on. It holds pretty well. My peeve is that it only holds in landscape position. I've since looked around and there are better ones on the market.

Great portable tripod for on-the-go!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great, as you to slip in your pocket for quick trips. Would give 5 stars if tripod was extendable, sometimes device I'd top heavy with the short legs. Shutter works great.

Q: QuestionCan the tripod rotate with the phone horizontally nd vertically to capture landscape nd portrait photos? And can the neck of the tripod move to capture different angles?
Asked by Tasha.
- A:Answer The tripod will only hold the phone horizontally. You could probably bend the legs to set up portrait shots, but it would not be ideal. The neck of the tripod can move up and down (like shaking your head yes). It can not rotate left and right.

Q: QuestionI assume that, as shown, the tripod would have to be placed on a table. Can the camera holder be removed and mounted on a standard photographic tripod?
Asked by JeffInTampa.
- A:Answer No the legs are flexible and you can wrap it around a pipe or tree limb if outside

Asked by sdouglass.
- A:Answer Hello sdouglas, you can find the steps on how to replace the battery on our official website, https://www.insigniaproducts.com/pdp/NS-MTRIBT10/5086538 however, if the device has a malfunction, please remember that our products are covered for one year under manufacturer's warranty. Q: QuestionDoes the Tripod raise up/extend to make taller?
Asked by Krissy.
- A:Answer No they don't, they do bend and are flexible, it's very useful to take pictures and group selfies. I also like the wireless remote that comes with it, just connect to your phones bluetooth and click to take pictures, in order for remote to work you must have your phones camera in camera mode, hope this is helpful to you.

Q: QuestionCan I point the phone at a surface to take a photo of a photo?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer A vertical surface easily. Horizontal surface probably but may depend on weight and size of phone. You may need to bend legs and rest something heavy against one leg to counterbalance the phone. Your phone may also be too close to the photo to capture it all or to properly focus. Better place photo against vertical surface and move the tripod closer or further as needed .
