Excellent reader
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a cheap 5 dollar reader that was absolutley terrible. Took forever to transfer photos or video. I hooked this bad boy up and it offloaded at the same speed the memory cards advertise. Another plus is it wont break the bank either. Decent reader for a decent price!

Surprising Performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tend to shy away from private label brands, but this card reader from Insignia doesn't disappoint in the speed department. It works as fast as advertised, providing equal to or faster than the advertised read/write speeds from the CF and SD cards I have tested. If it can last, this will be a handy little card reader.

Q: QuestionWill this Reader transfer high definition video files from my sdhc card to my pc computer? Presently I can only pick up still pictures off the card. If not, what would I need to buy in order to accomplish this.
Asked by Norm.
- A:Answer I don't know why it wouldn't. I transferred high definition audio files from my pc computer to my Ultra PLUS 128GB microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card. I haven't tried video, but can't see any reason why it wouldn't read any of the three cards it says it reads,if there is no damage to the cards. It transfers pretty quick, also.

Q: QuestionDoes this reader work with CFast cards?
Asked by Bizimage.
- A:Answer NO - CFAST CARDS DON'T WORK WITH THIS. CF seems to be used to abbreviate Compact Flash OR CFast. But these are different cards and CFast cards do not fit into this device. I bought one on the previous advice from whoever answered "Yes it works with CFast cards." Now I'm wasting two hours heading back into the city to Best Buy to return it. IN FACT: NO IT DOESN'T. CFast cards do not even fit into the machine. The answer that says "Yes" should be removed.
