Insignia™ - USB Microphone

There many more expensive USB microphones you can buy, but for function and easy, you'll find it hard to beat the Insignia USB Microphone. My need was simple, I needed of a good quality microphone to dictate to my computer and give commands. It needed to sit on a flat surface with some adjustment features for position, at the same time it needed to be big enough that I wouldn't have to fumble with it being in the proper positioned, but not so big that I wouldn't have the space for it on my already crowded desktop. I didn't need it to be wireless, as I'm only going to be using it at my desk. The Insignia, USB Microphone fit the bill, it does everything I need to it do, without having to pay for bunch of additional features I don't need or will likely never use. I don't have dreams of being a podcaster, I just need functionality for what I'm doing. It's not bad looking either. ;) I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy it again.

I really didn't want to spend $100+ dollars on a "brand name" microphone when I'm not recording songs or professional videos. This serves its purpose of being significantly better than the mic that comes with my laptop. Now if you have a PC with no mic, this one is a no brainer. Yes the $100 dollar ones will make you sound like a rock star :) but if that's not what you need this is perfect. Also, it is smaller than the more expensive ones, desk mount make it very convenient and it is threaded with a 1/4" hole like a tripod thread which greatly increases it functionality.

I've been using my Insignia USB Microphone for around a week now and I must say I absolutely love it! After opening the package I was pleasantly surprised on the build quality and looks. The microphone is heavy and the stand does a great job supporting the Mic, and its fully adjustable. Plug and play and you're off and running. I would highly recommend this microphone to anyone starting off with blogging or recording YouTube video's- For under $50 this is a great value with very nice sound quality!

Excellent microphone for high quality zoom meetings, or voice narration or recording. Installation and drivers all went very smoothly simple plug in with USB to micro USB on the back of the mic. Microphone range seems good, speaking within a foot or two comes across clearly; you do not need to be right against the mic to get a good recording. Minor detail, but the mounting screw at the base of the mic is somewhat shallow (only get one or two complete turns), but still mounts easily and securely to any camera mount, tripod, or clip-on quarter inch screw mount (standard mounting for any camera etc). I have very limited experience with microphones and recording, but this serves my needs for some voiceover work and meetings online.

This is a nice mic, and a great value. It has a weighted base that keeps it put on your desk. I got this for my sons gaming computer and he likes it. He uses it for online classes as well. It has great clarity. It has a button on the device to allow you to mute it

Quite a fantastic mic for the money. I am in many large online meetings and found that my USB camera mic was not picking up my voice well enough for me to be heard over the other participants. I added this mic today and had several people call out that they could hear me clearly. I would highly recommend this mic.

This microphone is high quality. The sound very clear. I use it for my YouTube blogging! Excellent buy!

Sound quality is very good. I didn’t have any problems connecting to my computer and after I adjusted volume of computer it’s sound is excellent. No complaints
