Great
||Posted .This remote works exactly how it should, great for portraits or photos were the camera has to be still and untouched, I bought it for night photography and couldn’t be any happier

Does not work with newer Nikons
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I bought this hoping to use it with my D3500. It is not compatible. It's not compatible with the D5600 either. This is an IR remote and Nikon removed the IR sensor from the D3500. So before you buy it, make sure your camera has an IR sensor. For remote shutter, they want you to use the SnapBridge app. Which works OK.

Simple and Amaizing
||Posted .This remote is great. I'm a photography novice and bought this remote to set-up a photo booth at a holiday party to allow people to take their own pictures. Single button, don't even need to point directly at the camera, just at an angle. So it won't make you have to pose while pointing at the camera. The only issue to keep in mind is that your camera may require a built menu option selected in order to use the remote. I have a Nikon D5000, and I had to switch the shutter option to remote mode first.

It works for my Nikon D5300!
||Posted .I keep it around my neck when actively taking pictures. (Just in case) We had a party for my father in law and needed to take candid shots. The whole family knew so the fact I was part of the family pictures made it more of a happy birthday for my father in law! On my the second occasion, my hubby belongs to a flashlight forum and needed comparative shots of the light beams at night. This needed a tripod and wireless remote. The fact he posted my shots and said I helped him meant the pics came out clean and useful. Yes! Finally night time shots without motion blur!

It just works
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I was equipping a gadget bag for my new-to-me Nikon D7200. I saw this in the store, talked to the knowledgeable salesperson and gave this remote a try. It seems good to about 20 or so feet away. I haven't used it a lot but it does exactly what it's supposed to - and for a lot less than the Nikon-branded remote.

Now I'm in it. ..
||Posted .Short and sweet, I'm usually behind the camera taking pictures cause that's what I enjoy but ever since I found and purchased the Insignia- wireless remote and shutter control I can be in the pictures and don't assume that since your using the remote your getting less quality pictures . I'm getting the same quality because this remote is also a shutter control so you do not lose quality or a member of the family cause they're the one taking the pictures now we're all in it! !!!
