This machine is a miracle worker. I was Leary at first but I LOVE IT! I’ve cooked an entire chicken, 2 slabs of ribs -cut in halves, Turkey legs and thighs, soups, beans in an hour, and sautéed veggies. You name it you can do it all in one spot. Great time saver. Use to help prep harder to cook meats then transfer to the oven to brown or cook completely in the Instapot and enjoy juicy, tender, flavorful meals in no time at all. Set it and forget it. I’ve purchased 2 additional pots. One for a friend and another for my aunt.

Easy to use and so functional in so many ways

I know that sounds like a stretch, but our family loves making our own foods and natural products, and this has allowed us to do even more of that. One of the things we can't make enough of in this is Greek yogurt. The process is exceptional with this Instant Pot. Cheesecake is also perfection when making one in this. Another of my family's favorites is pulled pork. And there are so many other recipes that make daily life just easier and more streamlined, that I would highly recommend getting one or more of these for your home. I will also add that this is stainless steel, which is non-toxic. Our crock pots and other slow cookers are not. This was also a big factor in giving this a try.

- A:Answer There is an Instant Pot app you can download from Apple or from the Google Play store that has all kinds of good information, and hundreds of recipes. I started there, then moved on to cookbooks and online postings. The directions for white rice, for instance, are spot-on and it comes out perfect. Good luck and enjoy!
