I debated between going to a 2011v3 or the 1151 socket for a bit but since I do more gaming than video editing I went with the 1151 socket. More overclocking headroom was also a plus. I did a complete system upgrade around the I7 6700K. Coming from an E8400 2 core to this is astounding to say the least. Buy it, PERIOD

If your building a PC this is the best bang for the buck! Very fast, benchmarks very well, overclocks easy and handles games better than even 2011-3 cpu's.

This is top of the line for me so I had big expectations. I'm not disappointed. Very fast. Glad I got a liquid cooler, this gets hot with rendering and video. I had issues with AMD processors years ago, so I opt for Intel as long as they continue to back their products up.
