"Into the Wild Life" is the first Halestorm album I've enjoyed from beginning to end and that's coming from someone that breathes thrash metal. The band had said in different interviews, they were going to make a more live, raw album, they did just that. The flow and sequencing of the tracks deserves attention, it's truly special in this ugly digital download age. Take this album as a whole, let it have a little of your time and you may receive a wonderful payoff. Lzzy Hales vocals are better than anything I've heard from her in the past, this girl shines. Instrumentally, I really think the band missed an opportunity to shine. Come on, some shredding guitar solos and a different production on the drums, this album would have smoked. My favorite tracks are "Gonna Get Mine" and "I Like It Heavy". Anybody that listens to Heart and Joan Jett, could definitely appreciate a couple of these tracks. Buy it at Best Buy.

I heard about Halestorm from Octane on Sirius XM, back when they first started. They hyped the hell out of them I think. At the time, I wasn't impressed, other than a few decent tunes they had.
Then I actually listened, and was mad I wasn't paying more attention.
Their self titled first disc was AWESOME. Every song. Like the first Third Eye Blind CD. (Yeah, remember that? Every song was great on that one).
Their 2nd CD was almost as good, not quite. (Strange Case...). I still liked it a lot.
THIS ONE.....ehhh...take or leave it? I'll leave it.
I just don't see the greatness on it. All the songs seem to be the same. They blend. There's nothing overly catchy. I wanted to love it. I really did. But they kind of made that hard to do. Sorry, guys.

After listening to the previous songs from Halestorm, I was actually excited to get it at the store. Kind of disappointed at the songs. They seem to all sound the same and too much screaming. New writer or producer?? Not as good as the older stuff.

I enjoyed all of Halestorm music, and this album is very good! They played some of the new songs from the album at their recent concert here at the NorVa, in Norfolk, Va. Great band and music!

I've recently gotten into Halestorm after hearing "The Strange Case of..." and I've been a fan since. Their other albums and their covers are awesome. This album was just okay though.

This cd rocks! There is not one "filler" song to be found. The band sounds very tight and Lizzie Hale's voice is amazing!! If you are in to rock n' roll; you will enjoy this cd.

I would recommend it to anyone that likes rock! Halestorm put their soul into this album. It has a mix of a few slower songs, but the majority will get you moving and singing.

This album sounds a little more country/rock than punk rock. I still enjoyed most of their songs, with "I like it heavy" being my favorite.
