Excellent Unit - Not for Beginner Installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the perfect solution for keeping your existing radio and adding Bluetooth capability. I installed this unit in my '05 Trailblazer because I was looking to keep my stock Bose radio with XM and Onstar. It installed neatly behind the dash and has been functioning flawlessly with my Samsung Note 4. Streams music and phone calls. A few notes: NO, if you're listening to the radio it will not interrupt for the phone call. NO, you cannot listen to the radio with the unit on. When the unit is on it turns off the antenna. I would also highly recommend professional installation. I am a certified Master tech and even I needed to consult the wiring diagrams for the HVAC and entertainment unit to be sure I wasn't splicing into a data line for power and ground. Don't forget cars made after the late 90's use computer data lines as well as power and ground lines for all the different modules.

Very useful device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my wife's 2008 Honda Accord, so that she could be safer with hands-free phone. This device works great, with a built-in mic and sound through the radio's speakers. The only drawback is that the radio has to be on "Auxiliary" input, so if on another setting, she has to press 2 buttons - not best but manageable. On the plus side, did not need major rebuild of the facia & disconnection of other components if I had installed a new radio with blue-tooth. Blue tooth connection was easy.

Good option for older vehicles
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this installed in a 2002 Maxima with Bose audio system. The installation looks good and unobtrusive - all that can be seen is just a small button on the center console and small microphone up by the visor. The adapter works well - it reliably connects with my phone when I start the car, and calls are easy to handle with the simple press of the button on the console. Music streaming is clear but the overall volume is low (which is as much of a problem with the phone as it is with the adapter) - because of this I have the system volume up higher than normal, which makes phone calls come through loud and scratchy. So I find that I need to constantly play with the volume control to get a good level.

Great Option for Vehicles Without Bluetooth
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 2007 vehicle and it only had Bluetooth for the phone and not for the iPod. After years of buying connection wires, which was yearly due to wear and tear, I decided to invest in this product. It works really great and the sound is better than I expected. My only gripe is in case the connectivity fails and cannot be established, than I have to make a trip to Best Buy. This only happened once since I bought it 5 months ago. Excellent buy and I feel is a smart investment.

My wife loves it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to update my wife's trailblazer because it was much cheaper than replacing the factory Bose system. We're glad we went this route. It's easy to use and the mic blends in well. I'm impressed with how quickly it connects to the phone when we start the vehicle.

Excellent unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our car was not directly compatible with a new in-dash stereo unit. This item was recommended by the Best Buy rep as a good alternate. It is very easy to use, and phones pair very easily. The sound quality is very good.

Q: QuestionIs there a way to increase the volume on this iSimple unit? I need to have the volume on both my iPhone and my vehicle radio at their highest levels to hear music and podcasts. I can listen to the radio at 8, but needs to be at 40 on bluetooth.
Asked by wallyo.
- A:Answer I'd double check your antenna connections and your phone's volume output level. On my phone it sounds like garbage at 100% but great at about 80%.

Asked by Aimee.
- A:Answer The default setting is 98.1. If that does not work, you can download the TranzIt Blue HF app to your phone and set the interrupt frequency for any station you would like (we recommend using your favorite radio station).

Q: QuestionI have this in my work truck and when I got my phone replaced it refuses to allow my phone to connect. I disconnected my old phone but it still just says unsuccessful. Is there anyway to restart it or anything to allow a new phone?
Asked by Kaleb.
- A:Answer I have some issues with this as well and ours is new, and installed by Best Buy technicians. What I have found is that if I do the following (since we have 6 family members in our home with phones), it seems to work: 1. Turn your phone's bluetooth on; 2. Hold down the phone button on the device installed in your car for a few seconds while your watching your phone's bluetooth connections; 3. When the name of this device pops up, click on it. What I think is happening is that if you don't hold down that button with the phone image on it on the device for about 5 seconds, it won't find the new device to connect.

Q: QuestionMy car has blue tooth phone capability, but it does not have blue tooth music streaming. Will this product do add that functionality without interrupting the other functionality in the car?
Asked by Walberts.
- A:Answer If you are looking strictly for streaming audio rather than streaming and hands free, I suggest using the ISFM23 instead.

Q: QuestionJust had this installed at Best Buy and now all the FM stations (except 3) are complete static. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how was it resolved?
Asked by Shady.
- A:Answer I had this happen to me, I took it back to Best Buy and they changed a wire (after trying other things) and the new wire fixed it.
