A New Classic Romantic Comedy
I love this movie with every fiber of my being. It's funny, it's a musical, it's a romantic comedy with some depth - it's about loving yourself first, about going after what you want.
I watched this 3 times in the theater because I just couldn't get enough. I'm sure the haters will come along, but you know, it's a positive film about love and finding it and good for a little film to watch to forget your troubles. Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine are good and the storyline works.
Natalie hits her head and wakes up in a real-life romantic comedy. While there, she thinks billionaire Blake is the ideal guy only to find it might be the guy she's been friend-zoning, Josh, who is the one for her - only in this romantic comedy, he's fallen for someone else.
She refuses to do a makeover montage, she wants to get back to the real world, but she can't get there until she learns a thing or two about love and herself.
There are 2 musical/dance numbers - "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and "Express Yourself" and everyone looks like they're having a good time.
The Blu-ray comes with Deleted Scenes and a Behind-The-Scenes look at the dance numbers. The DVD only has the Behind-The-Scenes look.
For sure if you like the cast, or romantic comedies, this is the one for you. It's silly, it's romantic, it's got great funny lines, it'll make you a believer.
And don't tell me I'm the only one who teared up at the window scene with Wilson and Devine.
