Almost perfect
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Since we are all working from home now, I decided to redo my workstation. I got a triple monitor mount and added an extra monitor to my work flow. I wanted to dock my Mac and just have it closed in the side. Initially this worked perfectly, until I closed my Mac to doc it. However, if you for any reason need to open the Mac, everything locks up. All in all this works, but I can’t just close my Mac and forget about it. Said computer is a MacBook Pro 2019 edition.

Not compatible to M1 Mac
||Posted .Not compatible to M1 chip. In fact after spending an hour with j5 team they told me M1 is cap to two displays only. Now i either have to buy another splitter and figure it out or takes their words for it. Recap if you own an M1 mac this wont work.

Stops working when it gets warm
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I only have two monitors plugged in and once it get warm, it stops working or freezes up the screens. I expect more for $110. I had to set it on an ice pack to get through my work day.

A little hot at times but appears to be working.
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.The unit does seem to get hot to the touch at times with 4 full HD monitors being driven off of my Dell T16 Thunderbolt 3 dock. I also run a fifth FHD monitor from the dock and the laptop display in FHD. Six total FHD monitors. I have the J5 Create unit suspended in the air to help with cooling but this adapter would probably have done better with some type of active cooling and heatsink. Also the unit appears to be randomly hot. The displays are work displays that don't have action content (video) or anything that would stress the display adapter differently. Sometimes the adapter is cool using it and other times it gets hot to the touch and I don't know what the difference is in my use to explain it.

Nearly flawless.

I don't know what to think
||Posted .I wish that I could give five stars but when I have two ASUS monitors plugged into the adapter its warm to the touch. I did install the drivers but I haven't noticed any differences with it.

- A:Answer Unfortunately, the JCA366 only supports up to 1920 x 1080P resolutions at 60 Hertz. - A:Answer The answer is yes, but it depends on your model of computer/laptop. I have 3 monitors connected to my Dell Latitude 5400 laptop (with i7 Processor and 16GB RAM). It does depend on the model/year as my previous Dell laptop did not have the USB C display port (aka USB 3.1 Gen 2) and could barely extend to two monitors and keep the laptop screen on. Now I have use of the 3 monitors and the laptop screen. I have not t tried a 4th. I don't think my laptop would support that many anyways.

- A:Answer Proper functionality entails downloading and installing a driver on a Windows or Mac platform and depending on the OS you have, different instructions apply. If your computer does not have a USB-C port, the JCA366 will not work and we do not recommend using a USB-C adapter to our device. The other option will be the JUA365. The JCA366 is the only adapter that has (4) HDMI ports.
