Customers find value in the quality and picture clarity of the USB Type-C to 4k DisplayPort Adapter cable. Positive feedback highlights the excellent build quality and the ability to achieve a superior picture on their monitors. The adapter's appearance is also frequently praised. No significant drawbacks were reported by customers.
I’m so glad this worked. There seems to be a lack of support for DisplayPort these days with HDMI taking precedence. The issue with that is a lot of monitors only support old versions of HDMI while sporting DisplayPort 1.2 or 1.4 gives you a lot of performance versus. I’m running this cable to a 1440 144hz monitor from a late 2016 MacBook Pro. Pros- Easy plug and play. Obscure(I guess) option that fits a niche and does it very well Cones- The DisplayPort casing looks and feels cheap. Not a big deal, to me at least

Excellent build quality and works for my needs. I have a Mac mini M1 and a Asus 4K monitor and it's a perfect match. Would highly recommend j5create cables to any one looking for high quality cables.

For a $35 cable you'd expect a few things: 1. Works as indented. Yes, until the PC goes to sleep then the cable keeps waking the monitor for just long enough to flash the no input detected. No, it's not the monitor it works fine with similar cables. 2. Getting your money's worth. Four feet c'mon really, on top of that the displayport's release button requires far to much force threatening to damage the cable unless entirely flush the monitor. 3. Aesthetic appeal. None, whatsoever. unlike the similarly priced USB-C to hdmi that had some effort go into making it look good, this looks like someone put the proof of concept cable straight into the box lacking any effort or even the J5 white and stainless. Over all too expensive for what's provided. I had hoped they dropped the aesthetics for functionality at a reasonable price but that doesn't seem to be the case.
