Top Product
Posted .Earlier this year got Jabra Elite 65t, and like it so much I got a pair of the Jabra Elite Active 65t for my spouse. The Active model (This) has better water-proofing (IP-56) and has a rubberized finish in both the earbuds and the charging case, which makes them less slippery when moist. Those are really the only discernible differences between these models. They're the same shape and weight. Also the Active has a motion sensor (As per documentation), but doesn't appear to do anything different, at least for now. (Tested with iOS). Jabra's 3rd generation truly wireless earphones are excellently executed. One of the few, and my first Bluetooth 5.0 headphones. BT 5.0 is used on iPhone 8 and X, and some newer Android phones, and also works perfectly with older phones. Pairing with an iPhone is straightforward, with good range and no drops. Newer phones with BT 5.0 can have better range and power efficiency. Batteries last about five hours and the case provides two extra charges (15 hours total, and takes about two hours to fully charge, and 15 minutes charge gives about 1 extra hour). They come with four microphones (two per unit) for excellent voice calls and noise conditioning. I've been using it almost daily for conference calls, and the sound, both from the earbuds and mics is as clear as it can be for a phone call. Because the earbuds have two mics on each unit, it used\s the mic array to compensate for wind noise while talking. The earphones come with three sizes of ear tips and provide a tight but comfortable fit, with a closed design for passive noise cancellation. The sound is very natural and detailed. Through the companion phone app, there is a five-band equalizer. Earpieces are relatively light and stay on. I find it comfortable to wear through the day. The left earpiece has two controls for volume and tracks, the right piece has a single button for play/pause and calls. The earbuds remember the last 8 paired Bluetooth devices, and they can actually connect to two devices simultaneously, for music and phone calls. While the phone provides a battery indicator for the earphones, the Jabra Sound+ app provides detailed battery info, the five-band EQ, lets you select the voice assistant when pressing the multi-function button on the right earpiece: Siri or Google depending on the phone or Amazon's Alexa (It works on both Android and iOS), and very neat features like HearThrough and Sidetone: HearThrough: While the headphones provide passive noise cancellation, HearThrough uses the microphones to let some of the external sounds in. This can be turned on or off by double-tapping the multi-function button or through the app, which lets adjust the amount of audio through. Sidetone: When on a voice call, adjusts how much of your own voice is fed back through the earphones. Then the little details is what makes these excellent earphones great. When taking the earphones off the case, they start pairing with the phone, and they turn off when back on the case. No fiddling with buttons to turn them on and off. When you pull off either earbud, it pauses music. Then when the earphones are again in close proximity of each other (ie in the ears) it resumes playing music. The case is small enough to fit in one hand. It has an LED next to the charge port to indicate charge levels, and another indicator between the earpieces that indicates their charge. The case can fit in the small side pocket of jeans. GN/Jabra is a Danish company that has been designing professional products for as long as I can remember, and their attention to detail and quality shows in this product.

These are officially my Go-To Earbuds!
Posted .I'm excited to write this review of my #1 earbuds - the Jabra Elite 65t! I had the product for roughly 3 weeks now - and waited a bit longer than normal to write my review to ensure I didn't find something wrong that I wasn't expecting - and the fact that I've been travelling a bit more lately! Let's get to it - hands down, the best workout (running, lifting, cardio-machine) earbuds I've tried. The overall design, a grippy finish and snug fit make them the most secure earbuds I've had in my ears thus far. Other earbuds I find myself readjusting about every 5-10 minutes to ensure a good fit or they start feeling loose - not these! Did I mention I sweat like crazy - yes - even in my ears. The IP56 rating makes these sweat-proof - and for added testing I've consistently worn them in the Lifetime Fitness steam room with excellent sound and results. No issues thus far with water what-so-ever! For sound quality - I find these produce a nice balanced sound that you can tweat a bit with the Jabra app. For truly wireless earbuds - I feel these produce the best sound of nearly any on the market - and I've tested many! The built-in accelerometer allows you to count steps or pause the music when you remove them from your ears (you can also double tap of the right ear button to allows ambient noise through - called HearThrough - so you can can have a conversation if needed while wearing them). The passive noise-cancelling feature is bonus and of course doesn't use precious battery life. Speaking of batteries, a full charge gives roughly 5 hours of play time and a quick charge feature can add 90 minutes of playtime in only a 15 min charge. I also love the charging case! I provides two functions for me - one helps me so I don't lose them (since they are pretty small) and also provide 2 additional full charges for those times when your travelling or camping and don't have a convenient plug-in nearby. As part of my job - I am on conference calls nearly all day. While I have a dedicated headset for this purpose, I thought I'd give the 65t's a try. I was pleasantly surprised at the audio quality, and my call recipients were equally impressed with my voice quality! While these will not replace my fulltime headset, they would work great as a substitute if needed! Overall - I'm very impressed with these earbuds and will promote to them to the coveted #1 spot on my go-to list. Nice job Jabra!

Good Once You Know How to Insert Them
Posted .The Jabra Elite Active 65t have a lot of great features like auto-pause when you remove them, and ambient sound toggle (Jabra calls this HearThrough). • It took a while to figure out how to insert them properly and get a good seal. This is mentioned in documentation but the trick is to make sure to twist the buds so that the mic stem is point down towards your mouth. Anatomically speaking, make sure the mic stem is rotated past the tragus of your ear – see attached photo. • I am no audiophile but I find the sound quite acceptable. • The app to adjust the sound changes the equalizer and the HearThrough ambient mic depending on what you’re doing, not by what you’re listening to. For example, the jogging mode and the commute mode turn on ambient HearThrough mic so you can hear traffic etc, and increase treble on the equalizer. The office mode turns off HearThrough. I think it makes sense to toggle HearThrough based on my activity. But I'd rather have the equalizer itself be determined by what I'm listening to, not what I'm doing. • Regardless of the app, you can toggle HearThrough with a double press of a button on the right bud as well. The HearThrough is a very useful feature. • The overall shape and texture of the buds makes them slippery. When trying to insert them, it's easy for your fingers to slip and toggle one of the buttons. Not a deal killer, but annoying. • The sound from one of the buds occasionally loses connection and drops. I have this issue with other wireless buds, though these Jabra buds recover quicker. If you’re in the market for a set of wireless earbuds, give these a shot, but be sure to insert them properly else you will be disappointed.

Best All Around Performer
Posted .Pros mentioned:Ease of use, Sound qualityCons mentioned:Buttons, Highs-=First Impressions=- Typical Jabra presentation with secure and simple packaging. My first thoughts were "these look so business/corporate, they could replace my Plantronics Voyager Edge". Fitting took some getting used to, but once I found the right tips they did not fall out or move at all. Initially, you may feel discomfort while trying to find YOUR proper ear tips, but that goes away fairly quickly. These are pure quality and built to last! The case is pocket sized and fits nicely in the palm your hand. The Elite Active 65t buds are a little bigger than a nickel. It is going to take some practice for one handed operation. I wish there was a way to get more accurate battery representation for the case in app or a light bar/indicator. Sound isolation is very good and I think these are the most well balanced for music and voice calls. The best part is you will NOT look like Frankenstein with these in your ears! I love the low profile build of these. Things I like: +Bluetooth 5.0 - the range and stability is greatly improved with Bluetooth 5.0. +Motion Sensors - can count steps to start. I believe there will be more functions via app updates. It is slightly inaccurate by 5-10 steps. +Total Wireless Solution - no wires bouncing on your neck or sticking to you when you work out. No more accidental tugging to annoy you when you are running. Lightweight and can go hours without noticing them. +Build Quality/IP56 - splash proof and dust proof. Offers 2yr warranty on IP56 protection! Built like tanks! +Fit - the fit was perfect and not one single movement during my run or workout. I ran about 5 miles and then did my weight routine. Not a single wiggle. Great job Jabra! +Quick Charge - a quick 15-minute charge provides up to 90 minutes of play time! +Case - has battery reserve of 2 charges. That means 10 hours in the case and 5hrs on the headphones for 15hrs total. +Battery Life - I can probably get a week's worth of use before needing to recharge the case. Easily makes it through a few gym sessions. Top end battery life of all other options out there. +Sound - nice balanced sound. Not too bass heavy and not sharp in highs. I would say it is a sound profile similar to Jaybirds. These have great sound isolation though. +Mono/Stereo - these can be used in stereo or mono. Use only the right side if you want to have a single Bluetooth experience +Call Quality - in stereo these are amazing. Callers cannot tell if I am using a Bluetooth or not. +Pass Through Sound - these use the on-board mics to allow sound in so you can hear around you while listening to music. +Sound Synced - there is no latency between video playback and audio in my ears. It is perfect and not a complaint in this department. +Look - looks nice, business/executive styling. Very subtle and no not attract much attention. +Ambient Sound - Double tap the left ear for instant almost hearing aid like external sound. Things I would change: -No aptX - no support for aptX or aptXhd. Sound quality is good, but this should be standard for all wireless headphones with BT5.0 -Button Placement - after some practice, I have figured out where things are. The left ear controls are difficult to find and press. -Buttons - the left side buttons are very stiff and require a LOT of pressure to activate. This make the earbud uncomfortable since you press into your ear to activate. -Charging - you're only able to charge in the cradle. If anything happens to it, you will probably have to shell out more cash as they require a proprietary pin charger. -No Tracking - there should be some sort of way to blast sound to these in case you lose them. An alert with last known location should be an option when out of range. -No USB C - it's unbelievable we are still using micro USB in 2018. I worry I may break the connector since everything I own now has USB C. -Case - I would like to see a light bar or indicator LCD that shows battery level. One light isn't good enough for me. Also, it is tough to use with one hand. It takes practice but can be done. Maybe wireless charging in the case would be nice as well. -Voice Commands - there is a terrible delay in the time you say "answer" and the time the call is answered using voice commands -=The Verdict=- These are the perfect all around earbuds. They are a perfect balance of call audio and flat audio profile for music which you can customize to your taste. If you want new Bluetooth headset, these are a buy. They offer versatility without sacrificing call quality and music quality. These are built to last.

Truly Great Wireless headphones
|Posted .I never had a pair of Apple airpods and this is my first pair of truly wireless headphones. So far i am in love, primarily use them for music throughout my day at work (IT) and at the gym. I've taken a few calls and i can hear the convo clear and they hear me clearly, they can hear outside noise (surprisingly not wind) like others talking in the background depending on distance. For quick calls they are good, i wouldn't use them as bluetooth headset replacements. At the gym, i've played basketball (just shooting and driving to the rim, no full games) ran on the treadmill and my regular workout. So far they have no fell out once. The earbuds do get moist so every 30 min or so i take em out wipe the sweat off on my shirt just to make sure they won't fall but still no issues. I have no ran outside as i don't carry my phone for runs. Connectivity... i dont recall them dropping connections yet. i've left my phone by the bench and went 50 feet at least and no static or dropped music. Still researching whether i can hook up 2 phones if possible.. Battery wise... i charge twice a week if that, workouts last an hour and some change while use at work might be limited to 1.5 hours in the day and thats not everyday i wear them. Comfortability is 4/5 i would never wear them all day as my ears would be sore. i use the smallest buds provided. Overall very happy, cost is comparable as +-$50 can get you another variety of headphones from other vendors. Nice that there black as well people think i was secret service when taking phone calls more discrete than white airpods (wish they came in black) Hope this review helps others. Had them for 3 weeks and no issues. Check the photo out for size comparison, very compact.

Worth Every Penny!
|Posted .Pros mentioned:Battery life, Ease of use, Sound qualityUnion construction workers have countless rules for safety. I've used these earbuds on site for almost a year. They have endured sweat and dust and still look and sound like brand new! Using them all day at work charging them only during lunch they last well into the evening. Everyone I work with envy them since they have to only have one earbud in so they can hear what's going on around them to stay safe. These have hear-through technology which allow me to keep both earbuds in and still clearly hear anythjng and everyone around me. Either using the app or two simple clicks I can turn this on or off. I'm no audiophile, but imo the highs a mids are perfect the bass is just below what Bose offers. The app offers a EQ that is simple and it even offers presets. I have no knowledge of how to work a EQ but the presets weren't good imo so I put on a song and just made a custom EQ that I thought sounded best. These have a last used location GPS type location if you lose one or both. Luckily I havent needed to use it since I've never had a issue with them falling out. They fit snuggle and dont budge. Seriously they've never came out. The case is small and firsts in any pocket. While wearing them they cannot be noticed from anyone behind you unlike the Bose ones that stick out of your ear significantly. That was the deciding factor between Jabra and Bose for me. Cleaning them is simple, I simple wipe them off with a damp paper towel. They have a almost rubber protected coating on them which seems to not bond with paint or even epoxy. Calls only come through the right ear and there is no offer to change to the left. You can listen to music mono using only the right bud or stereo using both. There is no option to change this either. Connection is amazing having my phone in my back pocket. If i leave my phone out I'm usually able to be inside a office 3 -4 offices away before it cuts out slightly. Some reviews mentioned a static noise from one earbud. Yes it did have this problem but jabra updated their product and it no longer has that static noise. Updates are down via the app which has all the controls aswell as instructions for all the controls using only the earbuds. These are one of the best earbuds imo. Expensive yes but I use to go through 3-4 earbuds a year and none of them have ever had hear-through. If you cannot decide between jabra and Bose consider if you need to hear your surroundings, Bose doesnt have hear-through so you'll be forced to use only one earbud. Hey it's a decent chunk of change your right, but cheaper earbuds that I've tried just never came close to fit sound quality and they couldnt hold up to the dust and sweat. The price will also make sure you care about them more rather than just throwing them down on your seat. These are the best hands down. Hey if you wanna look goofy give Bose a try, they sound amazing too. Only issue with them is the bass is overpowering and they stick out of your ear half a inch or more.

The Truly Wireless Bluetooth You Want
Posted .Are you a runner, a gym-rat, a gardener, a dog-walker or just someone that likes to shop to a beat? Well, these are the bluetooth, with the hands-free capabilities to keep you moving. I kid you not. The Jabra Elite active 65 are super comfortable and well connected for the hours ( 5+ hours per charge, in most cases.) you will be wearing them. Water and dust resistant. Truthfully, you should be ordering a pair while you read this review. Really. They are that darn good. We’ve got the standard charging cable, no brick. Your Getting started guide booklet. 2 extra ear gummies to find your perfect fit. Two very well designed earbuds and that sweet charging case. Mine were charged and ready to use right out of the box. We’ve got the standard charging cable, no brick. Your Getting started guide booklet. 2 extra ear gummies to find your perfect fit. Two very well designed earbuds and that sweet charging case. Mine were charged and ready to use right out of the box. There’s an option to toggle ambient noise on or off so you can hear your surroundings if you need to. These Jabra Elite active 65t are amazing. They come in a couple colors. Titanium/Black & Copper/Blue. The only bad thing I can possibly say is, They may actually fit too well, for some people and you may already have enough step counters. But honestly, that feature is just a bonus, anyway. There is no reason to not own these truly wireless earbuds. I recommend them to anyone with a bluetooth compatible device. Anything really! Iphone , Ipod, Android phone, tablet, chromebook, laptop/notebook even PC. Bottom line. Go get these things and thank me later. Q: QuestionI assume the green light on the case means the case is charged. Is there an indicator that the buds are charged?
Asked by TimmyNa.
- A:Answer To add to the question, while charging the headphones, the indicator light under the charger will either be solid or slowly go from bright to off then repeat... I can't figure out what that is trying to tell me... Anyone?
Answered by Kimo
Q: QuestionDo these stay in your ear better while sweating? The original 65t kept falling out when I was running
Asked by Blaze.
- A:Answer I have had these for about a month, and while I have never tried the Elite 65T, I sweat profusely while exercising, and after about two miles they start to work free in my ears, to the point the left has fallen out. I’ve tried all the different tips, including foam tips and they still start to slip after about 30 to 45 minutes of exercise. Kind of disappointed, in that the more I sweat the more the left earbud starts to pop and crack. Not sure why, I contacted Jabra and they told me to turn off Auto-pause, but that didn’t resolve the issues. Hope this helps

Q: QuestionCan an owner of the original non active 65t comment on the fit and stability difference with the active version? Curious if that and the extra IP rating is worth a look, or negligible.
Asked by JS.
- A:Answer I have both. (The second pair is for my wife). They are the same size, shape and weight. Besides slight color differences, the Active have a rubberized texture on the earbuds and on the charging case. The manufacturer's web site also indicates that it has a motion sensor, but I have not seen any difference when using the iOS app. The silicon gel pieces look the same as the standard model. Battery life and other features are the same. I've been using the standard model since it came out and the Actives for a few days, and didn't notice any difference in how they fit on my ears. See the pictures of both models side by side. Active are on the right

Q: QuestionDo both left & right earbuds have a mic and if so can just the left or right be used for phone calls in mono mode? I do no listen to music. I need mics in each earbud for phone calls so that if I loose one I have a backup.
Asked by Joe.
- A:Answer Hello Joe - Both the left and right earbuds of the Jabra Elite Active 65t have microphones, so both will be used during calls to pick up your voice. Only the right earbud can be used independently, either for calls or music. The left earbud requires the right earbud to be in place for it to function properly. We have replacement earbuds available on our website in case you lose an earbud, as well.
Answered by Jabra
Q: QuestionIs this better than Bose sound quality?
Asked by sanca29.
- A:Answer The Bose has a slight edge in sound quality, but the constant connectivity issues that it has, with left earbuds disconnecting from the right, lip sync lag when watching movies, and the huge earbuds sticking out of your ear, makes it inferior to the Jabra’s. The Jabra Elite 65t or Active version, is a all around better earbud than the Bose version with the rock solid Bluetooth 5 connectivity,. Better battery life, no connection issues, no lip sync issues, customizable app to select equalizer settings, how much ambient sound to let in, 4 speakers for clear call voice quality.

Q: QuestionCan these Connect with iPad Pro or just smart phones

Q: QuestionHow well do these block out wind noise? With the headphones I currently own, I can barely hear anything when it is windy even at full volume, and I'm hoping these do much better.
Asked by harbell.
- A:Answer Not sure if you are referring to the wind noise the microphone picks-up or that you can hear wind over your music or calls due to noise leakage? Either way these do a more than adequate job of eliminating ambient sounds, but to be clear you will still hear faint sounds from your environment. As for listening to calls these worked extremely well and you will find that in a blustery wind you could still have great 2 way communication as the microphones attempt to limit other sounds.
Answered by Jaybird
Q: QuestionCan I wear these in the shower?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello there: The Elite Active 65t is IP56 rated, meaning it is water resistant but not fully waterproof. For this reason, we do not recommend using in the shower.
