It is so easy to carry it around and use with my iPad without having to have big speakers. We have a great puppet ministry on Wednesday nights for small children. small speaker that has good sound. the lights are a fun feature. I don't plan to use this often so it's good to know that I can turn off the lights (or change the colors and patterns displayed). Some bluetooth speakers I've had before had a loud audio voice announce "pairing" or "low battery" which I find annoying. this speaker allows for me to replace the voice with a tone.

We had first bought two of these as Christmas gifts for two of our kids; they loved it so much, we bought it as a birthday gift for my daughter's friend's 11th birthday. Good sound for the size, compact enough for kids' hands, protected in a layer of soft rubber to withstand the day-to-day bumps and liquids, and the kids love the 'disco' light show/glow.
