Great sport wireless headphones I have ever used!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have heard/read many great reviews regarding to the JayBird X2 and decided to finally make the jump even with the steep price point... I consider myself a cautious buyer when it comes to spending a good amount of change and look at every in-ear bluetooth headphones that are... 1. Simple and minimalist in design 2. Great battery life 3. Features like "anything" proof (i.e. sweat/water resistant and what not) 4. Brand recognition and overall value After using it in a 48 hours period, I found that with a little playing around in the setting up with gels and wings, I managed to find out my ears aren't the same in size... go figure. :D Overall, after finding the right setup, I found the above the ear style was a better choice for me since I utilized the cable management adapters (included) to be able to wear this without too much exposure. I was able to squeeze a good 11 hours of play time at about 40% sound level before having to recharge. My ears weren't fatigue from wear and it's light enough to where I didn't even feel them anymore. I found that the music quality is to my liking and wasn't too bass heavy. Clear sound, good battery, cable management and a combination of choices when it comes to comfort and fit. I would highly recommend the X2... 5 stars.

A long time user
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using JayBird products for quite sometime now. These are by far the best sport headphones I've ever used. The micro sized buds make them virtually non existent while I'm wearing them. I can't tell you enough how much I hate wires while I'm running. The weight of wires always pull earbuds out my ears. I've never once had this issue since you tighten the wires up with the clips that's included. I push my workouts to the limit and these hold up very well. Thanks to BestBuy as well with making my geek squad accident protection exchange easy. My X2 went for a swim in my washer machine during laundry day. I was heated >:( but the folks at BestBuy made it easy for me to get a new replacement pair. Definitely worth getting the protection plan for unfortunate accidents like that. I had to go for the Alpha because the black was out of stock but I kind of like a little color since I've been doing the all black since the JayBird blue buds. I just hold the color holds up against dirt and fading.

Light headphones work well w/ the right ear shape
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted Bluetooth headphones that would allow me to walk around my apartment without having my phone tethered to my side. These headphones seem to work as intended. The headphones work without clipping sound in my over 1000 square-foot single-story apartment. However, the clipping of audio can occur if I stand too close to the microwave while it is running. The only complaint I have with the headphones is from the use of the earwing adapters as they make my ears sore after about 30 minutes. My ears seem to hurt less if I run the headphone cable over my ear. I believe with the right ear shape these headphones will work very well. The sound is good for Bluetooth and for better bass response I recommend using the silicone ear pads.

Great sound; charge lasts longer than most
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned the Jabra Sport wireless, then purchased a set of Powerbeats Wireless headphones. The sound was good not awesome quality but good. My friends and family would tell me that they heard me far away and on ocassions, with an echo. However, Jaybird - X2 Wireless Earbud Headphones are by far superior. The sound is crisp and clear. The fit is more comfortable. Battery lasts MUCH longer; over 10 hrs. I charge them every night, then use them all day at work 0330 until 1200 and afterward. Dont need to recharge until approx 6 to 7 p.m.

Perfect for the gym, or any activity!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got one for my brother, and myself. I am totally into the JayBird X2. They don't fall out of my ears and don't lose connection with my cell phone, even when I'm pounding a run on the treadmill. The sound quality is amazing. Easy to use, with only three buttons to operate the headphones. Answering incoming calls is a breeze. People I talk to have no clue I'm on a Bluetooth device, I can whisper and they can still hear me clearly. PLUS, one full charge lasts days, with me. Some downfalls are; can be difficult to clean the ear inserts, initial set up is time consuming because you have to watch instructional videos on JayBird's website. They come with tiny plastic loop clips to shorten the wire for a custom fit, but they have hard rough edges that irritate the skin. So, I tie a small knot. Lastly, the wire is not glossy smooth so it sticks to the skin on the neck, especially when sweaty, and can tug the earphones causing ear soreness.

Great wireless earbuds. Don't get white
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a toss up between these jay birds and the beats. Saw all the bad reviews for the beats (and I don't like the over the ear buds) am satisfied with the product, however, I got white and the heat from charging the buds has burnt the plastic leaving a dull grey color that cannot be removed. Go for black

The Best Bluetooth Headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design of these headphones are the best. They stay sung in your ear for casual wear and even better when you wear them in sport fashion. The sound quality is top notch. Also add that they are sweat proof means they will last a long time.

Q: QuestionHow many hours does the battery last for wireless blutooth earbuds when in continuous use?I am trying to replace my wireless bluetooth Jaybird Sports earbuds. I came to this site because of the compare feature. However, an important feature is the battery life when playing continuous music, books, etc. Why isn't this listed in the product specs individually or when comparing the items? It caused me not to place my order online with Best Buy because I didn't feel well informed. Its a shame because the sale prices where desirable.

- A:Answer I have mine turned on and connected to my phone from around 8am to 7pm at night. I just leave them around my neck. With that I probably listen to music ~ 4 hours a day and I normally charge them every 3-4 days(and they aren't even dead). I love the battery life on these things. Also a thing to note is that bluetooth 4 is much more battery efficient so make sure your phone has it too.

Q: Questionhow do these compare to beats or skullcandy?
Asked by yo.
This question was asked about the related product: Jaybird - X2 Wireless Earbud Headphones - Ice
- A:Answer I personally think that beats are over rated. They have great sound (best bass), but they didn't stay in my ears when working out as they are 'over the ear' versus the JayBirds are 'in the ear'. The battery life on the beats was not as good as the JayBirds. The price on the beats were more expensive compared to the JayBirds (at the time when i purchased). I didn't look at skull candy as they were not even listed in the tech reviews for gym workouts.

Q: QuestionWould this product be considered water proof?
Asked by Icybrand.
This question was asked about the related product: Jaybird - X2 Wireless Earbud Headphones - Alpha
- A:Answer These headphones are sweat-proof. Not water proof. If Lil Wayne pours a bottle of champagne on them or throws them in a fish tank, they will likely fail and not be covered.

Q: QuestionWhat are the ear fins used for??? These would get in the way of sunglasses, sport activities
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer They give a little extra support to keep the buds in the ear. They fit on the inside part of your ear (not the ear canal). They don't go over the ear and therefore they have zero impact on glasses and hats.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference use between the silicone and foam ear buds? What is the difference use between the silicone and foam ear buds?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The marshmallow earbuds are the most comfortable! I wear them all the time - but especially appreciate them if lying down and turn my head against the pillow - you don't even realize they are in your ear!

Q: QuestionI'm not sure whether to get these or the Beats ones. I am looking for comfort, and the best sound quality. Can anyone help?I want to also make sure they won't fall out of my ears when I run
Asked by Liv.
This question was asked about the related product: Jaybird - X2 Wireless Earbud Headphones - Storm
- A:Answer I had the same question before buying the Jaybird X2 earphones. Personally, the jaybird x2 was not as comfortable as I thought it would be (especially after reading all the hype about it). No matter what combination of the ear tips and wings I used, they would still fall out of my ears when I shooked my head or had the cords barely tugged on. Maybe my ear canals are too narrow. I compared the sound quality to my apple earphones and it wasn't that much better. It sounded better but not enough to be excited about. The bluetooth signal is not always good. I had my phone on my bed and when I walked out of my room it started to sound staticky after a few steps pass the door; so about 15-20 ft it starts to lose signal. This is my first set of wireless earbuds and I am not impressed by it. Charging it becomes a hassle too. Good thing is that you can always try it out and return it if you don't like it.

Q: Questionwil these work with tv
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes they will work with any device that supports Bluetooth audio and the latency is fairly low so not too much of an issue with audio/video syncing.

Q: QuestionPhone call mic? What is the quality of the mic when making phone calls? Can your voice be heard well when speaking?
Asked by RedErik.
This question was asked about the related product: Jaybird - X2 Wireless Earbud Headphones - Charge
- A:Answer I wore these around, hidden from coworkers and friends for about a week. I wanted to see how discrete I could be with them. No one noticed anything different in my voice when I called people on them. Great call quality. I wear them behind my head so if I am driving with the windows down, the wind isn't kicking the mic around like when you wear wired ear buds. I would recommend these without a doubt.
