I use these to listen to audiobooks. The sound is quite good. My problem is that I have a difficult time keeping them in my ears. I have tried every size ear piece that they came with as well as the orange tabs to help hold them in place. They still pop out of my ears frequently. Because of this, I only use them if I'm relaxing.

The cheap 19$ Sony ear buds very much loader an more bassier. So I recommend the JBL's to those who will enjoy low volume an easy listening music. Not good for working out though. I like loud for motivation in my workouts.
