A Bang 4 Your Buck!
||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Best speaker "EVER"! This speaker has plenty of bass and easy to carry. I have a party speaker that I have been using for years to host my parties or gatherings but it is a little heavy to carry. I needed something with a bang and this was a excellent choice. I heard this speaker a couple of years ago while traveling through the Atlanta airport but didnt want to cough up $500. The thing thay made me change my mind ia that i went to a birthday party and they havd 2 of these bad boys paired together and they were banging! No need for a DJ with 2 of these and a good play list. For a small area you only need one.

The very best BOOMBOX
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.First, it's crazy expensive! Think Apple expensive. If Apple made a BOOMBOX, this would be it. Is it worth $500 bucks? Yes, if you want the best sounding BOOMBOX currently on the market. I spent over 10 hours researching it on U-Tube videos and written reviews. The ONLY negative anyone expressed was the price. My one regret is that I didn't buy it from Best Buy a week earlier when it was on sale for $400, but I wasn't done with my research at the time.

Q: Questionwhat are the differences or upgrades between the jbl boombox 1 and 2.

- A:Answer I own both. Boombox 2 has deeper fuller bass then the original, especially at lower volumes. It weighs a pound heavier then the original with a smaller battery (Same capacity as original) meaning they’ve upgraded elsewhere (drivers). The sound signature has also been improved.

- A:Answer There's no such thing as “low frequency mode”. That mode you're using is a debug mode made for JBL to diagnose any issues with it. Listening to music with debug mode active can potentially cause damage.

- A:Answer Our JBL Boombox 2 can't be connected with the Partybox 310 because these two speakers have different technologies that are incompatible with one another. Our JBL Boombox 2 has the PartyBoost function where it can only connect to JBL Flip 5, Pulse 4, and Xtreme 3 or any JBL speakers that has the Partyboost function.

- A:Answer Software updates for your speaker can be done using the JBL Portable app. Download it from the Apple App store and Google Play store. If there is an available update, look for the small red dot above the gear icon and follow the download instructions

- A:Answer Our JBL Boombox 2 has the Partyboost feature where you can link multiple Partyboost-compatible speakers to pump up the place. You can link together your Boombox 2 with Flip 5 & Pulse 4. To utilize this feature, you just need to press the Partyboost button on your 1st speaker and press the Partyboost button on the nearby Partyboost compatible speakers.
