Better than the best!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had had trouble with my previous (most popular) headphones because they kept cracking at the weak point in the headband. I went into Best Buy and the fellow there gave me good pointers on all the headphones. I selected the JBL Everest 700 headphones because they were sturdier and better-made than the so-called 'best' headphones on the market. I use my headphones all day long. I have had them for 6 months now and they have never given me any problems. I love that the battery seems to last forever! I had them going for 2 days straight without running out of juice. They are supper comfortable, cover the whole ear nicely, and DON'T squeeze too tight so they are headache FREE! But they also stay put when I need to be actively doing my work (lots of bending down and reaching). The sound is great even when the volume is low. And the sound remains great even when loud, without distortion or buzzing. I love these headphones!!

Good Sound, comfortable, poor button placement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received these headphones for Christmas. Have been using them with my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 since. I also paired them briefly with my Surface Pro 3. They work wonderfully with the Apple products. The pairing with the Surface Pro wasn't as smooth. It paired and I got sound, but it kept dropping the pairing (headphones would eventually turn off because they didn't think they were paired). I would imagine that has more to do with Windows 8 then the headphones. The sound is very good. The headphones are very comfortable. While I wish they had active noise cancelling the fit of the headphones does a very good job of blocking ambient noise. The only real complaint I have is the button placement. If you lean your head back against a high back chair you will very likely hit one of the buttons against the chair. Also, it has a feature that allows you to share the Bluetooth connection with another Bluetooth device which is a great concept (haven't tried it yet), but I keep accidentally pushing that share button just taking the headphones off or leaning back against a head rest. That can get annoying as it goes into the share mode and looks for another connection. The only way I've found to cancel that quickly is to turn headphones off and then back on.

Great Product!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headphones are great!! I used them for the first 4 weeks without having to charge them at all... I didn't use them all the time but the battery life is probably 10 times longer than my powerbeats wireless (although that really isn't a valid comparison). These headphones have a great sound and cancel noise very well! The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the didn't fit snug on my head. My head is quite small. This allows for comfortability though!! I can wear these headphones for hours with little to no hurt at all. Great for gaming but only with the cord. Although the cord is a 2.5mm output cord to 3.5mm input cord. The cord itself has a mic as well so the only time you use the mic on the headphones is when using bluetooth. There is a slight delay when watching videos but I have never not experienced this with bluetooth... overall my favorite pair of headphones yet!

Pretty darn good for the money!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a pair of Bose wireless headphones (AE2W v1) that I liked mostly, but never thought that they were comfortable enough. I sort of used them, but let them go a while ago and moved to a set of earbuds instead. Just recently, I realized that I didn't have to carry headphones back and forth to work any longer (I started to work from home), so I thought that I'd invest in some over-ear kind again. These JBLs have worked out extremely well. They fit great, block a ton of sound, and have good sonic reproduction. I'm not exactly an audiophile, but I can tell cheap headphones from expensive ones. These JBLs sound (to me) pretty much as well as the Bose headphones did, with the notable exception that they cost about $100 less. Further, I feel that the build quality of the JBLs is higher. That is, the JBLs feel more solid on my head than the Bose did. I'm really quite happy with these headphones. My only gripe is that when using the headphones as a cell phone headset, my voice is pretty low, since the eadpads block so much noise. That's a pretty small price for the rest of how much I enjoy these headphones. I would definitely recommend them.

Premium audio, excellent feel, bargain price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the JBL Everest 700 headphones in Gray as my first wireless over-the-ear set on Black Friday, and I could not be happier! Let me start by saying that I did not know anything about the JBL brand until I found these on the shelf at Best Buy. At first, I was skeptical because I had never heard much about the brand from actual consumers. Names like Beats and Bose were king when talking about audio gear, and headphones in particular. But JBL is simply the consumer headphone naming convention for Harman, a much more recognized and respected audio brand! And boy do they live up to that name! Sounds produced are accurate, rich, deep, vibrant...never tinny. A full range is represented well in the highest of frequencies down to the lowest of bass. I would highly recommend heading into a Best Buy store and trying them out for yourself. Hearing is believing! The demo setup will even let you play music from your own device to be 100% sure the audio reproduction of what matters most to you is provided in this set. Beyond the excellent sound quality, this pair of headphones is rated at an incredible 40 hours of wireless playback on a single charge. I listened to an average of 3 hours of music a day for 2.5 weeks and the battery never came close to being depleted (there is a battery status icon on screen when you pair with an iPhone or iPad). Recharging is fast and easy with the included micro-USB to USB cable. Pairing is simple out of the box with the touch of a button after being powered on. The wireless connection seems to be strong and stable, as I have only once found myself have to reset the connection to eliminate crackling and static after I wandered a bit too far away from the audio source. Range is good. It seems to break out around 45 feet away, or about half that through two standard Sheetrock walks. In my three bedroom apartment, I have no problems keeping the connection while roaming with the source stationed in any one of the rooms. Build quality is good. They definitely seem durable, but are made almost entirely of plastic (with the exception of the metal bands above the earpieces that say "Everest" and "700". This means they can be a bit squeaky when putting them on and taking them off. They have a nice weight to them, adjust sizes easily, and are foldable. As far as comfort goes, they could not be better. The ear cups are wrapped in soft and pliable memory foam inside and out, and are covered with a buttery smooth (faux) leather. After wearing these non-stop on a seven hour flight, I was able to take them off without any signs of fatigue or stress to my ears, neck, or head. If I had to criticize anything about these headphones, it would be the lack of a carrying case and the ability to find a third party case that fits. I have been forced to carry them naked, which is not the end of the world since they do seem very durable. It would have been a nice addition though. And finally, there is a button in between the volume rockers on the left earpiece that if activated will put it into sharing mode, which at this point in time seems to require you to turn the headphones on and off to dismiss...which can be a minor annoyance. All in all, super happy with my purchase! I just wish I would have opted for the black. It's so much sexier!

Nice alternative to pricier Bose & Beats
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted to make the leap to BT but everything seemed too expensive. My number one pick would been Bose, but I wasn't willing to fork over $279 or $349 for noise cancelling model. This JBL fit the bill $199 retail, $179 on sale. Cool gray color. Limited listening prior to purchase at the store. Very happy with the purchase. I am not an audiophile, so I can't give you a sophisticated analysis but it sounds good in my ears with enough bass for me. For me it's more about convenience rather than absolute best sound. Since I am listening to MP3 files anyways, I am okay with pretty good sound fidelity. It does look big and can feel a bit heavy compared to Bose. It doesn't have active NC but since it is around the ear, it does a good job of blocking out the ambient noise. After the purchase, I had to upgrade the firmware to fix the lipsync issue. Overall, very happy with the purchase. It's a great model for the price.

good sound, great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these headphones when they were on sale during black friday. I was impressed that i like them better than the beats by dre headphones that I had prior in terms of comfort and sound. I have tried on all different on and over the ear headphones from low end to high end and I felt like these were the most comfortable and secure true over the ear headphones. They are not overly heavy and snug, nut not tight. maybe bose headphones have better sound but I was not willing to spend so much on a pair of headphones. My only regret about these are the appearance/design. i have them in gray and they look super boring and kinda cheap. I wanted more sophisticated looking headphones especially since I wear them in public and while videochatting.
