Customers consistently note the excellent sound quality of the Docking Digital Music System for Apple® iPad®, iPod®, and iPhone®. Many appreciate the great sound produced by the system, especially considering its size. However, some users have experienced issues with the functionality of the remote control. A few have reported problems with the remote's performance.
This sound dock is big. I'm not sure how loud it gets. The remote control that came with it doesn't work. There is no way to turn the sound up manually. Very annoying. I called the manufacturer and they are sending me a replacement.

I was hoping to make a good choice , being challenged electronically. The speaker has good quality sound and it was a positive purchase.

I bought this for my mom as a Christmas gift. she has the iPod nano and needed a new speaker and found this one to be compatible. it's affordable, the sound is good and it was an easy set up.
