This product is absolutely NOT reliable. I have gone through a replacement already and the new hoverkart that I received only lasted a few days. Customer service is terrible. It takes weeks to get them to actually acknowledge receiving the information you submitted multiple times. Amazing that Best Buy carries products from this company.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it... for about 3 months. It no longer works right. The seat sensor detects her hovering over it while she is getting on and if one of the handles is barely out of place, it will take off from underneath her. It will also take off as if the handle is being pushed down, while no one is on it. It doesn't steer right and will turn off at random times. Waste of $250. If I can update this review, I will add video.

Over all this a a great product to give your kid for Christmas. It is really fun but, it did come with a problem. Whenever my son played with it outside it would keep turning on and off. Within a week, one of the sides stopped working entirely outside. But, indoors it does work perfectly fine.
