Customers regard the Flex Sport Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones highly for their exceptional sound quality, remarkable comfort, and impressive battery life. Many users rave about the headphones' lightweight design and secure fit, making them ideal for workouts. However, a few users have experienced connectivity issues, particularly when accidentally turning the headphones off.
Most people collect stamps, coins etc., me, I seem to collect Headphones, all kinds, all prices. I have in ear buds wired and wireless (Bluetooth), over the ear both wired and wireless (Bluetooth). I’m still searching for that perfect fit, comfortable with excellent sound. I do a lot of walking and exercising on my stationary bike. The JLAB Flex Wireless headphones, so far, have come the closest to what I look for in a good pair of over the ear headphones. They aren’t perfect, but for the price, they are better than some of the expensive ones out there. As I said before, I like to walk outside and with the weather starting to get colder, these headphones serve 2 purposes, I can listen to my music/audio books, and because the ear pads are cloth, they also keep my ears warm. The pads are also washable either by hand or in a machine (they come with a nice cloth padded pouch that you can put them in to wash in a machine). They are lightweight and surprisingly comfortable. The ear pads wide enough and soft enough to wear over glasses without discomfort. The pads also come off easily for washing. Washing instructions are included in the user instruction pamphlet. They are clearly marked with a large L or R for left and right for the best performance. The controls are easily accessible and large enough without having to fumble around feeling for them. Connecting the Flexsport via Bluetooth is easy. I connected them to my Smartphone, tablet, laptop and iPad with ease. It only took about a minute to connect to each device. The Get Started Guide included is easy to follow with good diagrams and instructions. It also beeps and has a voice that tells when they are paired, connected, disconnected and the battery charge. The headband itself is a fixed size and doesn’t extend or contract, so it’s a little tight when I try to put it over a ball cap. The Flexsport does come with a headband pad that clips on the inside of the band to make it shorter and more comfortable if needed and is stretchable so can be placed anywhere inside the band. The band itself is hard plastic and not padded. The headphones come with 2 tension bands one Firm Fit (tighter for exercising) and one Flex Fit for general wearing. Both tension bands are clearly marked on the inside as to which one is which. The padded case included is multifunctional and well made. It’s large enough to hold the headphones, charging cable and 2nd tension band. It can also be used for washing the earpads and head band pad in the washer and closes tightly with a nylon pull. Charging: The charging port on the Flexsport is easy to find and the USB-C cord is a good length, about 42” long. The one thing they don’t come with is a wall charging adapter, that you need to purchase separately. The large Button on the outside of the R earpad turns blue with fully charged. That button is also used for turning ambient sound on and off. When turned off you can hear outside noise, within the headphones, but not too loud. That’s great if you’re outside and need to hear traffic noise or other sounds. When turned on all outside noise is muted, somewhat, better than some I’ve used. Sound: Quality is excellent on all types of music and/or talking. The Flexsport has an EQ feature. Not the best, but you can tell the difference between Balanced and Bass Boot. The JLAB C3 Signature setting enhances vocals well. Each setting can be easily changed by pressing the large button on the outside of the R earpiece. All in all the sound quality is excellent. Clear and not stat-icky. If you’re looking for a comfortable pair of headphones for exercising in the gym at home or taking walks, these are good for all.

I use them to work out and they work very well. I also like the extra band for casual wear. However after awhile of wearing them (an hour or so) they start to hurt my ears real bad and I have to take them off. This is fine with me because I bought them purely for exercise which only takes 30-45 minutes, but it’s kind of annoying if I’m wanting to just wear them around the house. Overall good for them money and very versatile with the different bands and washable ear pads. Great for what I need!

I’m a headphone junkie. I have in-ear, over-ear and on-ear Bluetooth headphones. I have extremely expensive and not so expensive headphones, all for differing needs. When I exercise, I don’t like earbuds. Heck, I just don’t like earbuds at all. My preference is over-the-ear, but over-the-ear headphones don’t often make great exercise buddies. These new JLab Flex Sport Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones are a great option. They’re very lightweight and remarkably comfortable. They include removable tension bands for a truly customizable fit, which is unique. The ear cups are removable and washable, plus the material is moisture-wicking for you know, when you sweat as you work out. I like the design and the control buttons seem well made, with solid click actions and the LED lights when you turn them on are cool looking. That’s the good. The measure of a headphone is after all, sound. This is where I have to give them just a, they sound decent grade. Now admittedly, I have headphones costing considerably more than these, but I also have headphones which cost much less. And to be honest, while the sound is decent, it’s not much better, in my humble opinion, than decent. When I first paired them something went amiss. They sounded tinny, muted and lacking bass. I thought perhaps it was what they call Custom EQ3, which supposedly provides three options, Signature, Balanced or Bass Boost modes. It turns out after a little research, this EQ feature can cause the sound to become muted. So I unpaired them and set them up again. Without the EQ, they sounded really good. Nice crisp highs and the bass without any equalization was more than enough to satisfy. I was able to get the EQ to work this time, but found with no EQ, they sound the best. I don’t like artificial equalization anyway, so this is not an issue for me. Next is a feature that is really great for someone who wants to wear over-the-ear headphones while running on public streets. It’s called Be Aware Audio, and a simple tap of the big button on the right ear cup lets in ambient noise (street sounds, etc) while still playing music. This is smart and really does make these a great option for running. These are integrated to work with Siri or Google Assistant, which is nice as well. And the universal controls are well placed, easy to use and work as you would hope they work. Charging with the supplied USB C was quick and they say you get 20 hours of playtime, which in this price range is terrific. So there you have it. These are seemingly well made, with decent sound Bluetooth headphones. The EQ feature is a waste to me, so I won’t be using it. But I did thoroughly like how lightweight and incredibly comfortable they are. These will definitely be on my head the next time I go for a run or get on the elliptical.
