I had my doubts about buying the 4K collection of Jurassic Park but I am glad I did. The picture quality looks excellent! On Jurassic Park 1, 2 and 3 the picture quality looks pretty clear and smooth but there are some parts of each movie that has that grainy look to it which I personally don't like because it doesn't look that great on my LG OLED E6 4K tv even with re-adjusting the sharpness level down. However 80% of each movie is very clear and smooth looking like the 4k version of Terminator 2 and the audio is pretty well balanced too on each title which is awesome as there are some really bad Audio Decoding that makes the movies sound excessively loud on explosions and broken glass. As for Jurassic World, it looks Fantastic as it was filmed with the latest Format. Over all this is a must own collection, Now for its packaging: i Really like the steel boxes that the movies are in because it separates the 4k discs from the bluray disc and each disc has its own slot holder meaning none of them are stacked on top of each other like some of the movies I have bought in the past. I have a family relative that got the version where it is like a cardboard book with nice images on it that has each bluray disc in a sleeve, but unfortunately for him, his movies have some very light scratches on the disc right out of the packaging due to how snug they were inside the sleeves, So.... if you can get your hands on the steel box, go for it! It will come well protected and if mine came scratched free, I am sure your copy will too.

I love the entire Jurassic Park franchise, and I was definitely going to get this set no matter what, but I decided to pre-order the Steelbooks when I could get them for about the same price as the regular set, plus the movie money made it a little more worth it. I love these Steels, the designs are simple yet still cool, and I love having them in my collection. The packaging isn't the greatest, there were a couple tiny little nicks in places, and the 4K Steel was caught up on part of the box and was wedged open on the bottom a bit, but these issues weren't enough to make me want to exchange it in store when I picked it up. The movies look great on 4K for the most part, I thought that 1 and 2 looked fantastic. 3 definitely looks the worst of the bunch, I would probably choose to watch a different copy of it in the future. And World, well it looks about the same as the Blu-ray, but maybe with a tiny bit of improvement in various colors thanks to the HDR. Overall this was a great set, I'm glad I bought it.

Allow me to start buy stating I'm not a professional reviewer for a website. I have been an avid home theater buff for many years. Despite the many people stating the Disc Format is dead or dying, which I find quite funny. The new 4K Collection of Jurassic Park is really one of the best transfers I've seen since 4K has been out. It's always nice to see the studio go back to the original film stock and clean it up. The scan is very clean, really bright colors, deep blacks, seamless effects detail, I could break them down each disc but that would be to long. Oh don't forget the soundtrack, does it ever rumble I prefer the DTS-X. Even if you can not get the Limited Edition I highly recommend picking up a copy on 4K you will not be disappointed. Additional note I love the fact Jurassic Park holds up after 25 years.

I was on the fence about getting this movie because one, I've seen them all. Two, didn't think 4k would make that much of a difference for the earlier ones. Lastly, I didn't thin I'd watch it more than once. I WAS WRONG! The earlier movies look a ton better in 4k. Downside you can tell in some scenes what it is not really there I would guess is how to describe it. Not that it looked bad but you could see it. Now everything else especially the T-rex looks mind blowing. Every dino looks awesome and you can see the detail in their skin, eyes, and environment. I watched each movie a total of 3 times and each time I was just stunned at how much better it is in this format than it was on blu-ray. If you want to show off your 4k tv to a friend or family member just watch this. Also got it on sale so that helped as well.

I originally purchased the first collection set from 2015 so I was hesitant in double dipping, but being the fan of the “Jurassic Park” film series that I am, I couldn’t resist the 4K set. It comes packaged in a glorious case with the T-Rex doing what she does best, and the steel books are a nice addition as well! The picture, colors and sounds looks amazing on the 4K transfer as well! Especially on the Jurassic World film! Highly recommend this release! My only complaint is that I wished this set would include a spot to package the future release of “Fallen Kingdom” as the original Bluray collection did. Still, another fantastic purchase!

The Jurassic Park films don't really need an introduction or review recapping their events, but they've won audiences over since the first film came out in 1993. The original remains the best, with Jurassic World probably coming in a close second. This set is comprised of two steelbooks, one for the Blu-rays and the extras, and one of the 4K discs. They look gorgeous and will likely appeal to any fan. If you don't already own the Jurassic Park movies, this is a handy set, and the Blu-ray Discs make it a great holdover until you get a proper 4K player.

I pretty much got this all because of the first movie. It's an all time favorite. I had it on Blu-ray, but the others are on TV so often that I was on the fence. 4k does make a difference. The first 2 movies are great, the others are universally split. I'm happy with this though because the steel books (plural!!!) are great. I just wish the image of the other version wasn't used for this one because I thought I'd be getting the movie money with this, which would have made the price really good. Oh well. Jurassic Park is a classic and now I own the very best versions.

Great set. I don't understand all the hate of the 4k transfer of this. Yes in the first one there is some "iffy" video, but the movie is 25 yrs old, so what can you expect. Still worth the upgrade imo, glad I got it when I did cuz it is $30 more now. I decided to pay a couple bucks more for the steel book version so when the sequals come out I can ditch the blueray disks and replace them with the 4k discs. Audio is great also. Would have preferred Atmos over DTS X but still really good audio mix.
