Relatively inexpensive in contrast with the larger versions in this series (twice as big model is closer to like 4x price), this has quite a loud (and perhaps annoying) roar sound that sounds accurate, not tin-toy like. The volume of the roar is not adjustable, however. It can be posed in a posture and the arms positioned in various ways. The package may lead you to think it has a base stand, but it just stands on its feet and has no base and doesn't especially need one for stability. There's minimal color detailing aside from the eyes, the mouth, teeth and claws are same grey plastic as the rest of the model.

I got this for my sons 2nd birthday and he was very excited about it. He can easily press the button to hear the dinosaur roar. It’s a high quality toy!
