I went to buy another Apple lightning cord because mine had frayed on that crimped looking part. The associate recommended this one for the above reason. He said he had one of these and it lasts, doesn’t fray like Apple’s. Figured I was on my third Apple cord in a little over two years, so I’d try it. No incompatible message when I plugged it in, charges fine. Too bad Apple won’t fix their cords. This length works well for me too. Think I’ll pick up another one to leave in my vehicle. Very happy with my purchase.

I love the color and the fact that the cord is long enough to reach my phone where ever I place it also the cord doesn't tangled at all a great plus ; very durable too.

The charging cords that come with the units, be it cell phones, tablets or computers, are woefully too short! 3 foot cords just don't cut it! 6 foot cords should be standard! I ordered this cord to match the color of the unit(s) that will be using them in order to keep them separate from other similar looking cords... makes it less confusing.
